Kudos to the chef on this one. Last night my husband and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and had hoped for a memorable... meal.to celebrate. We were in for a treat! Not only did we experience the most amazing food ever, but everything from thegracious service to the cocktails was right on point. I had the scallops which many restaurants overcook. Tender, and sweet,they were seared to perfection and served with rice and smoky bits of pork belly. The sauce was amazing and lent just the rightextra flavor notes. My husband had the swordfish and raved with every bite, Again, the fish was cooked perfectly and notoverdone. I’m not a fan of swordfish, but the bite I tasted was delicious. For friday evening we booked the reservation at Watervüe Grill. Watervüe Grill is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing decor... and water-views. They have their own bar and offers seafood for lunch and dinner. When we entered the restaurant at the registerwe were seated on the table and greeted by our server Faith with menus and water. After exploring the menu we decided to orderSangria for the drink, Red Chill Rubbed Corvina, Butter Braised Potatoes and Shrimp & Grits. The service was also good and firstI got my drink i.e. Sangria which was home made. Soon we got our food too. The shrimp and grits was good in taste with shrimpperfectly blackened. We chose this place mainly for the view and we were able to enjoy a great sunset sitting outside. I ordered the corvina and it... tasted pretty good. The amount of food though was way too little given the $30+ price. My boyfriend ordered the seared tuna andpasta. The pasta was very dry and bland. We told our server about this situation when he came to check in with us, which was 15min after the food was served by the way. We didn’t receive any apology or any compensation other than “I will tell the chefabout this.” We also waited about 10 minutes for the check. And what’s funnier, we weren’t given a pen for the check…The two stars are for the environment and the corvina. But for the price, we are expecting way better service. Read more

This is a hidden gem in Tampa. Food was delicious. From the hostest all the way to the kitchen the service was impeccable. ... Long time we haven't received this type of service. Their manager Melanie, is very sweet as all her staff. They are helpfuland accommodating to their customers. We went here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary surprise getaway. I had thecreamy jazmin rice, asparagus, and the salmon. OMG! As soon as tasted my food it was like an explosion of flavors in mymouth. I had never experienced this before. My husband had the NY strip which was done and cooked on point. Just as he hadrequested. It was juicy, not dry, and the flavor ????. Everything that we tasted was delicious and delightful. This place is the bomb. Service is top notch. They have a very good collection of beer on draft. The one i tried was... excellent and delicious. The Rockefeller oysters are put off this world but disappointed they didn't give me more :) Theblackened mahi is tender. Tasty. Flavorful. Juicy. Fries are hot. Location is right on the bay with the view of boats anddowntown. Prices are considered cheap for the area and the service and the quality. Highly highly recommended. Read more

The food was delicious. We had the Lobster Ravioli and the Seafood Combo. Scallops were perfect cooked however the lobster in... the combo left a bit to be desired. The portions are good serving but not quite worth the price but the food was super tasty andmade for a great experience. Read more
