So pleasantly pleased with the staff/owner of the establishment. So kind to every patron and grateful to everyone choosing... their restaurant. Food was freshly prepared as you ordered. The jerk chicken part of the trio was sooooo spicy the first day. However, was definitely a delight when I reheated it the next day and the spices marinated and weren't nearly as spicy. Great hidden gem that came highly recommended. A definite must go to restaurant to have amazing Caribbean cuisines. I recommend... the jerk chicken wings as a starter. It has a lot of flavor and just enough kick that will make you want more. I also recommendtheir "Taste of the Island". It has all the greats on just one plate ox tail, jerk chicken and curry goat. With rice & beans,plantains and small salad. The restaurant has small, intimate atmospher to it. So, if you want to take a special person somewhere nice. I recommend taking them to Yah Mon!! This place is great! This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and my very first time trying Caribbean food and I am... definitely wowed! The food is so good, I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The drinks are also really good theydefinitely give you island vibes. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Incredible food and friendly staff. Everything from wings to the dinners were delicious. Even though they don't have liquor, the... wine based drinks were really impressive. The chicken was fall off the bone and flavorful. We unfortunately didn't have room fordessert. Looking forward to our next visit. I will always remember this fine and dine restaurant not only by... the delicious food but most importantly the customer service experience. I had an amazing night, everything was delicious. Theoxtails, the jerk chicken wings and those fresh Jamaican beef patties. If you’re looking for FINE AND DINE JAMAICAN food thisis the place to go. I cannot explain how good I felt here. The host was so warm and inviting, incredible service, and the food was honestly... life-changing. Best oxtail I've had, amazing jerk wings and bread pudding. I've never been a fan of plantains but I actuallyloved theirs. I would visit Tampa just to eat at Yah Mon :) Read more
