For my daughter?s 16th birthday, she wanted a Stranger Things theme cake so I called Stone House Cakery. Leah helped me and even... gave me her personal phone number to send a picture of what I wanted. Jenn did an amazing job at decorating the cake in greatdetail. It turned out perfectly. We ordered lunch yesterday. 5 sandwiches, mac and cheese, and the twice baked potato salad. Called at 11:15, was told it... wouldn't be ready until 12:15. A little bit of a wait. This was everyone's first time eating at Stone House. Let me say, worththe wait. Everything was so delicious!! Not one complaint in the bunch. Earlier this year we rented their room for a baby showerand they couldn't have been more accommodating. Even supplying a couple of white folding tables for us to use. We also purchasedthe mid-mini cupcakes; let me tell you the mid minis are the perfect size and every one just as delicious as the other. The onlyproblem was selecting what flavors we wanted. We had always heard great things about Stone House and quickly book a tasting after we booked our venue. Lois and her staff... were really great to work with and completely got what our vision was for our big day. We ordered about 70 cupcakes in a varietyof flavors including vanilla buttercream, smores, pumpkin, chocolate raspberry, boston cream, and pumpkin! (also highlyrecommend the tortoiseshell). And then we also got a 1 tiered cake in the smores flavor for my husband and I! The cake was somoist and fresh and the flavors really shine through. And if you are worried about the cupcake size! Don't! They make a sizeright in between bite and a full cupcake for you guests to enjoy without getting stuffed after a big meal! I ordered a custom cake for an anniversary party. I gave the Stone House cakery a color scheme and a few pictures for reference.... What they created was stunningly gorgeous and absolutely delicious. I also picked up a loaf of banana walnut bread, a Jewishapple cake, and an assortment of scones for the morning after brunch. The banana walnut bread was so good that a brunch guestwho doesn't like bananas or walnuts thought it was great. From the customer service to the creativity and the delicious bakedgoods I highly, highly recommend the Stone House Cakery. I can't wait to be back in the area to stop in for lunch. Read more
Stone House provided us with the mid-mini cupcakes for our wedding. We had Stone House cupcakes at another wedding about a year... ago, and when my wife and I started planning our wedding, we knew for certain that we had to get Stone House cupcakes for ourwedding because they were that memorable! Lois at Stone House was very easy to work with and helped plan the cupcakes for our130 person wedding. My wife and I also love the size of their ?mid-mini? cupcakes?they?re smaller than a typical cupcake andperfect for two or three bites. We went with a variety of flavors and the guests couldn?t stop raving about the cupcakes! Seriously, they are that good! The flavors we went with: Hummingbird (Banana Bread), Key Lime, S?mores, Turtle, Choc PB, LemonRaspberry, Irish Car Bomb and Cookie Dough.
