The Goose and I had a fabulous dinner and excellent personable service from the entire staff!! Everyone was so welcoming to me... and The Goose. And I fell in love with the Cranzy Appleyago apple wine cheese!! OMG!! DELICIOUS!! And Gooae approved aswell???????? I had to buy more to go!! Really cute atmosphere and decor. Came here for lunch. You can order at the counter, pay and tip, then find a table to sit at.... This is a nice accommodation for a large party to be able to pay separate. I ordered the Portabella Mushroom & Garlic GoatCheese sandwich. It was delicious but there was way too much cheese on top - I had to scrape some off! The marinated mushroomhad a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and said it was good as well. Being a group of 10, on thehouse, we were brought out some chocolates which was a nice touch. Great place for a drink and a snack. There is a wide selection of beers, and variety of snacks. We had the French Brie starter,... which was basically toast with melted Brie and some apple slices and almonds. Many interesting pieces of local history decoratethe space. Read more
Great and fast service. Had the peach margarita and the portobello & garlic goat cheese on pita bread. The sandwich was... delicious and flavorful, also recommend getting the spicy chipotle mayo as a side. Great prices as well, came out to around 20per person for food and a drink Read more
Awesome selection of beers, nice menu with unique options. Food was better than average, service was outstanding- especially... the gentleman I assume was the manager that come around towards the end. Hooked us up with some to-go beers and chocolates. A friend from the area took us to Last Chance for lunch specifically to try their French onion soup. We were NOT disappointed!... Plenty of gooey cheese to go with a well-seasoned soup. For our main, we all opted for the knish-wich (because who doesn't lovea random knish every now and then?!). Pastrami and melted cheese on a toasty knish was tasty! First, the positives - the staff was extremely warm, the music was great, the vibes of the place were excellent, and it has a... cute shop where you can buy excellent goodies like tea and chocolates. However, the food left a lot to be desired. As much aswe hope the cheeses would delight us, we didn't quite enjoy them. The nachos were average (although the jalapenos were superfresh), the cheese fondue was ok, the buffalo wings were extremely hard and chewy, the buffalo chicken wrap was also chewy, thecheesy fries were a disappointment, the split pea soup was decent, and the Fettuccine Alfredo was good. A much needed beer, charcuterie board and meal after a long hike in the rain. Staff is awesome. Epic beer list. Good menu,... choices for everyone, local cheese from NY, VT and surrounding areas.
