Lovely mostly ground floor rooms where you can park right outside your door. I always love that option! Easy unload and load.... Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Shower/ tub in the room. Clean plank vinyl flooring. Table and chairs and spaciousbathroom. Near everything!! What's not to love? Great price! We'll be back!! Read more
Miles at Kachina Lodge was very accommodating to us! We were late in arriving, and he stayed an hour past his shift in order to... check us in. We like the room set up, with the tile floors and separate dressing/bathroom area, and our fur babies were able tostay with us too????Very convenient location also, being closer to Taos Ski Valley. We stayed one night, the hotel is older and a but dated. But the room was huge with a large dressing area off the bathroom. It... just seam a bit sort of eerie for some reason. We just felt strange that they put us all the way in the back of the complex somany rooms but hardly anyone there. The beds were comfortable so for one night it was good and the price was reasonable. I wouldsay that if your in the area take a look there are other hotels in the area but the decided to stay here because it was petfriendly and no pet fee. Do your research. Read more
Stayed,one night in mid-September, 2021. A great place to stay! Clean, roomy & decor was beautiful as it was recently redone.... Our TV made odd noises when changing the channel but that's the only negative. Staff was welcoming and kind. It was a wonderfulquiet night's rest. Met the owner in the morning and he was really nice. We'd like to return one day soon and stay longer. Read more
We had a quick stay here while traveling!! It was very affordable which was why we chose it!! But being greeted by the sweetest... woman( wish I remembered her name) was one reason we will be back! Clean and quiet! Beds very comfortable! Not a very fancymodern place but I imagine you wouldn?t stay here if that?s what you were looking for! The man who was at the desk at checkoutwas just as kind as the woman!!! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend for a reasonably priced and clean place tostay! What a great find! I only spent one night but will definitely be back. Great location, could walk to everything in town and lots... of good places to eat close by. Loved the staff especially Miles at check in and out; what a lovely guy and had localrecommendations that were spot on. Great 1960's motel, enjoyed walking around the grounds and sitting amid the trees looking atthe views. My room was comfortable and spacious. Good to have a fridge and a microwave, a table and chairs at the picturewindow. My bed was so comfortable and the shower had plenty hot water. Yes, this is an older property that the new owners aretrying their best to update. It was built in the 1960's and so some features are outdated. But it's such a lovely property, I'mso glad I found it. Read more
Had a relaxing stay, enjoyed walking the grounds. The room was clean and decorated cute. Didn't have any $300 hold on my credit... card, my dog was welcome for a reasonable fee and the front desk guy was friendly and warm and personable. The art gallery isworth a look. Only downside was a bit of noise at night, just noise transfer probably made worse by tile floors but other thanthat I enjoyed my visit and I would stay again. Read more
DO NOT STAY HERE!! I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I setup travel arrangements for co-workers, and I booked them at... this hotel. The hotel was supposed to bill my company credit card after I sent in my credit card authorization form, but insteadended up charging one of my co-workers personal card for two nights, and he only stayed one night, and then charged my companycard for one night. After several calls to the lodge, they still will not refund one night of lodging. Also Pinder, the owner ofthe lodge stated "If you want your money, your going to have to come and get it." Not very professional, and bad business allthe way around. There was also not any coffee the morning the two employees checked out. If you don't want to get billed forextra nights that you didn't stay, I would not stay at the Kachina Lodge. Read more
