This place is a total gem in Taos! I love swinging by for a morning pastry or burrito (I love the vegetarian). The staff is... always delightful and kind. They have a well stocked selection of treats, fresh ready to go lunches and great coffee. It?s in alot with some other shops so it may be hard to see (across the road from 5 Star Burgers), but totally worth checking out! Read more

The coffee was good and service fairly quick. Didn't really try any of the other offerings, but it all looked really nice.

Friendly people, the best coffee, and best pastries in Taos, IMO. Best GF muffins, too, if you arrive early enough in the day.... (Elevation Coffee's GF muffins are much bigger, but I personally find them too sweet.) Prices are high but worth it to me. Iget a consistently excellent, piping hot, organic and fair trade Peruvian or Guatemalan coffee brewed just right. They alsohave espressos, Americanos, lattes, etc. In summer, Koko also sells several kinds of delicious Mojitos on ice (fruity green orblack tea with mint, with or without sugar) which they make to order. They also sell bags of coffee and locally producedgranola, among other food items. Their yummy and light GF muffins sell out by 11am most days, but at any time of day they havethick, dense slices of cake/bread for sale (regular and GF): pumpkin, lemon-poppyseed, banana-walnut, and/or apple-pecan cake, for sale (if you aren't allergic to eggs). Many magnificent (but not GF) sandwiches, desserts, yogurts, salads, wraps, coldoatmeal with berries or nuts, are available. They have vegetarian options as well, even in sandwiches (if you need a GFsandwich, however, you need to arrive in the morning well before lunch). Many delicious muffins, sweet pastries, and grand piesare for sale for those who can eat gluten, and if you can't eat gluten, you can always find something. You can also order a GFpie to pick up in a day or two. (My GF peach pie was delectable!) Lately they are again starting to offer gourmet food for takeout, such as spicy shrimp, roasted Brussels sprouts, chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and cheese, exotic slaws... Priceystuff but delicious. It's a tiny shop with not many seats - don't count on being able to sit inside and eat during 9am rush -but in afternoon there's usually seating available. They also have a few small tables with chairs on the sidewalk. Since it'ssmall, unless there are very few customers at the time, it's not considered cool to take up a table just Read more
