Puff pastry, locally sourced chanterelle mushrooms on bed of spinach and asparagus with a brandy cream sauce. Very good. We... always share! Ordered the jumbo shrimp (6) and an 8 ounce filet. I went to Martyrs with a group of 6 for a celebratory meal at the end of a week long trip, and it was a great experience. The... food was excellent and the service was very good, as you would expect for the price. The restaurant was broken into two parts,separated by a small road, and we must have been seated in the secondary half as the service, while very good, was just a teenybit slow. We weren't really in a hurry, so this wasn't a big problem. Read more
The food was fantastic, my pork chop was perfectly cook, the mashed potatoes were heavenly tasting, and the chimichurri just... fantastic. Great customer service, every one was so nice to talk to, I seated down in the bar and it was such great choice, Ihad really nice interactions with must of the staff, bar tender was great as well. Is a great place to go. Part 2; I came backcouple weeks after the first review cause I wanted to try the hamburger, because many people were talking about it, so I did ateit and it was glorious, just perfectly cook, I order some calamari as well, now I thought those were a little bit extra cooked,but tasty never the less. Food was great! Seemed short handed with staff so it took a bit longer with a few requests from our party. A person in our party... ordered the porterhouse and was undercooked. Other than that it was a good experience. Read more
What a fun place to have a meal! The outside patio area was lovely...AND the indoor area looked beautiful ...except it was a hot... summer day!!! The bar is very inviting, the bathrooms are beautiful and clean. The atmosphere is truly lovely! This restaurantis in the center of town, great location! The menu is nice and diverse, something for everyone. Our server was spectacular,everything was enjoyable.???? Read more
Amazing restaurant. When every other restaurant in Taos wouldn’t let us sit on their outdoor patio with our dog and order our... own drinks, this was the only restaurant that not only made accommodations for us on their patio, they served us outside withamazing service. They didn’t have to. But they did. Thank you to the staff at martyrs steakhouse. We will definitely be back.They were so nice. Read more
