I stayed at the Don Fernando for three weeks on a fire assignment and ate here most every night. I think I had almost the whole... menu! The good: the sopapillas, the smothered steak burrito, the fish and chips, the fried stuffed jalapeños, the salads(huge!), and the nachos. The burger was consistently a little charred (three times) and the prices are a little high, but isoverall pretty good for hotel food. The service was always friendly, and the restaurant itself is pleasant to sit in, althoughit was only ever the bar area that was open, not the full seating area. Read more
