After a couple of pleasant, mexican-food-filled days, we decided to go for chinese food for a break. Songs seems to be a great... go-to. Nothing fancy, but garanteed good homey chinese food. But most importantly, the owner (Connie?) is THE NICEST, SWEETESTHUMAN ON EARTH RIGHT NOW AND MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS. She is the kindest person Ive ever met. When we opened our to-gobag of food we were surprised by some free dumplings. Our hearts melted. I wish her and her husband all the best. Read more

A surprisingly good Chinese food in Taos. I certainly didn't have much expectation when I googled "Chinese food near me". But I... ended up eating here exclusively after paying $10 for God-awful Sonic Burger the first night. Twice cooked pork is one of myfavorite dishes and they had it on the menu. It came with bell pepper, onion and salary rather than cabbage I'm used to. But itwas really good. The next day, I ordered broccoli chicken. The brown sauce on it was one of the best without being greasy. Ihighly recommend both. The service is slow, however. I think it's two-person operation with one cook and one server. But, ifyou are not in hurry, you'll get a very good Chinese food at very reasonable price here. Read more

Okay chinese restaurant close to Taos center. Waitstaff were very nice and friendly. The dining area is a bit rundown and would... use some upkeeping. If that doesn't matter to you, food came out fast and were well seasoned. Nothing fancy. Ordered CoconutShrimp and Kung Pao Tofu. Prices are comparable to most chinese restaurants. Read more

Food is superb, authentic level of spice and flavor, exactly what i was hoping for. Thai curry was the real deal. I honestly... liked the building and the inside, feels just right. Will miss this place after leaving Taos. Owners were super nice. Read more

Honestly, the dining room execution was terrible; and even though it was, as another reviewer put it, uncomfortably sparse, it... still took about forty minutes to get my main entree, which I got before my appetiser. Reason why five stars is, if you'rewilling to overlook the glaring flaws, the food is spectacular. Don't judge this book by its cover. Read more

My boyfriend and I tried this place on our vacation in Taos to have something different for dinner. It?s your average Chinese... restaurant. It?s more of a take out spot versus dining in. Its very sparse inside like uncomfortable vibe. I did enjoy thehandmade steam dumplings though. The food portions are standard sizes to other Chinese restaurants. Service- very friendly, nice, and understanding. For example they were out of something and they provided us something different to make up for it. Read more
