Cool place. My rating is more for the potential than my experience with the food. Busy and live music playing at lunchtime. I?ve... been seeing the ads for the lobster rolls while driving by for so long?. Finally had to try one. Disappointingly, I would rankit at the very bottom of all the lobster rolls I?ve had. I mean, the pic looks amazing. But it just didn?t taste fresh. Smelledand tasted a bit fishy. And no butter flavor to be detected or evidence of butter left on my fingers. An absolutely must stop!! I've heard about this place for years and never went. I was surely missing out!! I went for a burger... and fries and I had no idea what I was missing. Gluten friendly!!!! Delicious burger bigger than my mouth. Classic burger saucewas yummy and those chips are to die for! If you dig milkshakes, some are over a foot tall with goodies. Looks like it could bea jiving little joint with a band spot. I went for early dinner on a Friday and made it just before the rush. Staff was great. Aself handwashing station like I've never seen. Delicious lobster roll served Connecticut style! The warm butter really lets the lobster shine! Perfect split for 2 with a... serving of twister chips covered in molten cheese! May 2022: Vibe is changing here. NNB has missed the mark the last 2 times we visited. Counter staff act majorly bored or... annoyed. We went outside thinking the music (which was really nice by the way) would be at a lower decibel than a musicfestival, but wasn?t, and a staffer came out to tell us that a beverage was ready at the counter!? Why not bring it out?? Weended up eating outside in the parking lot just so we could converse with the people that we drive hours to visit. Lackluster,disappointing experience. Fall 2021: Three generations give a thumbs up to juicy burgers and crispy homemade chips slathered ina cheese sauce at Northern Neck Burgers. Super busy on a fall Saturday but staff quickly turned over the orders. We enjoyed livemusic while sipping their specialty rum drink. It reminded us of a Bahama Mama and it was potent. I stumbled across NN Burger when out joyriding on my motorcycle. What an awesome find. The atmosphere was cheerful and... pleasant. Live music was playing and the decor was fun and uplifting. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I hadthe lobster roll which was one of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. The onion rings melt in your mouth. And they havelocal craft beer on tap. I live an hour from this restaurant and am planning to take the whole family. It's worth the 2 hourround trip drive! Read more

Best burger In VA? Yes. Possibly the best burger I have had anywhere. This place was a saw it and stopped a few years ago and... now if I'm reasonably close to them I will make it a point to reroute my trip around one of thier burgers. The staff havealways been great, the dining area clean and nice. They occasionally have live music but it wasn't so loud you couldn't talk topeople which is nice. Ate here twice while working in town for a couple days. First time tried the lobster roll, second time wanted to try the burger... but ended up getting the lobster roll again!! It was just too delicious to pass up. The meat was plentiful and just tastedbetter than most places. Next time I?ll try the burger, no promises. Read more
