We came here for a friends birthday. This is one of her favorite places to eat but my first experience. I'm a vegetarian so... had the bean nachos. The nachos were average but the desert was superb. The fried shrimp got the best reviews amongst thetable. There were 8 people in our party and majority said food was good. However nothing was exceptional but the service. Ourwaitress was phenomenal as well as the food runners. The hostess was even a delight. They had live music this day (a Saturday)downstairs . Looks like a tourist place, which we like, but it has much more to offer than. The food was quick and good. There was live music... (on a Tuesday night) near the outdoor dining area and we had a nice view of boats in the water, very relaxing! It is locatedvery close to Tarpon Sponge Docks, which is also a great place to shop, eat and enjoy water activities/shows. All in all a veryfun area! Read more

Dinner out with friends and we decided to try this place. It was late Sunday afternoon, parking lot was almost full and we were... afraid that there would be a wait. Turns out, this place is Huge! We drove, but you can arrive by boat also, lots of dock space!We were seated quickly and our server, Jake (Not from State Farm), was there to take our drink order!! When he delivered ourdrinks we ordered appetizers and dinner. Jake has a Great sense of humor and we really enjoyed the banter back and forth! Therewas live music, and the drinks were Really good!! Appetizers arrived and was Very Good! Crab & Shrimp with tortilla chips andFlash fried Calamari, both Excellent!! First time visit for 5 of us.. Hubby got the fish and chips and I got the grouper tacos which comes with rice and beans.. both... were very delicious. 1 person got the taco salad - which you have to pay to add the meat to. ???? It was huge and looked good -but he wasn't impressed with it. Another person got steak tacos and enjoyed. Last person got a sandwich with the homemade chips- which she said were greasy. We had an appetizer of fried calamari which was yummy. 2 sodas, 1 non-alcoholic drink from thebar, and 1 shot of whiskey. The bill was 120 before tip. Live music downstairs with outside seating.. Loved this Tiki Bar , the waitress was super cute, was not bothered in ever other minutes like in many other places. And... especially when your eating, your mouth is full, and they come.. ? how?s your food?????????????Yes so very cool atmosphere, andyes, the food, I asked the waitress how good is the Grouper Taco, and with sparkling eyes she said, ? You Gonna Love it!!? Soyes indeed she was absolutely right! All together was perfect, the seasoning, the way the grouper was made. Taco Perfection.
