The occasion was an anniversary party. The food service was Chinese. I found every dish tasted similar to the one before. Normal... different Chinese dishes are completely different tastes. This restaurant was not at all as higher quality as they profess tobe. It is possible if you are buying one dish it might have been prepared in a more carefully. The staff was exceptional. Theservice was excellent and the people attending by were able to prepare it almost any type of drink you wanted to order. Deservestheir or very vigilant in making sure everyone myself probably and anything needed at the bar that were happy to help get it toyou. I don't feel I will ever have a desire to revisit that particular setting to eat. Read more

TL;DR - EAT HERE --> If you're looking for a beautiful place to have drinks - AVOID --> If you're wanting amazing food - AVOID... --> If diversity in patrons is important to you ------------------------------------------------ Ambiance Stunning interior andlocation. Although the decor is a bit odd and a clash of styles (staff wearing Hawaiian inspired clothes?), the actualrestaurant itself is IN the King Mansion which is grandiose and beautiful. Staff From the moment you walk in, everyone was veryfriendly and attentive. The timing from being seated (immediately) to having our order taken to getting our food, everything wasprompt. Food This was definitely the biggest disappoint. The menu is allegedly "cantonese inspired" but was far from it. Weordered six dishes and of the six, the best one was the Shaved Snow Pea salad which is kind of a disappoint considering it wasour first dish—everything was downhill from there. The Sweet Summer Corn was the worst dish of the six. It looked vibrant andpacked with color when it arrived but was disappointedly bland and one note. The presentation of each meal was beautiful andenticing however, everything we ordered tasted subdued. Lastly, seeing a menu for a restaurant of this caliber with impossiblebeef on the menu was surprising. Had the Dan Dan Noodle dish used tofu instead, it would've not only been more authentic butalso more palatable. Overall experience We dined in for dinner on a Friday at 5pm and the place was packed. We're twonon-drinkers and got sat near the bar which was very loud and busy. Probably 98% of its patrons were of a certain country clubtype so if diversity is important to you, I definitely wouldn't try this place. Read more

Omg this venue is so beautiful. Surrounded by nature and sculptures is this hidden gem. My favorite was the heirloom salad, an... explosion of flavor. Everything else we ordered was also fantastic. The service was stellar all around. We’ll definitely comeback to try the winter menu ?? Read more

I visited the big lawn at Goosefeather on a Friday night. Seating was open and had a cool backyard vibe. There was DJ that... night. He played a mix of music. There was a little bar cart to get drinks. We ordered the kung pao wings and black pepper beef.Everything was delicious. Our servers were attentive. It started to rain a little and we were provided umbrellas. The partydidn't stop. We had a great time. Read more

Had no idea this place existed nestled in Tarrytown! My daughter planned a family dinner here for my 60th bday! Very impressive... indeed! (Modern version of Asian food w/ an eclectic decor!) Great food, attentive, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds you canwalk on, or just sit & watch the fireflies after a wonderful dinner. (Goosefeather is on the Tarrytown House Estate where thereis also a hotel. Makes a great stay-cation vacation!) If you REALLY want to impress someone, or for that special occasion, Istrongly suggest Goosefeather! Read more

Food was great ! But unfortunately don’t recommend going here.. the hostes lied to our face that there are no tables besides... the bar when there were.. don’t understand way doing so. We reserved with the resy app and set out in the garden. That is notthe way to manage a restaurant… I saw the owner reaction to my review.. now I understand the low service of this restaurantand if you really want my advice it’s simple just don’t lie to people . It’s that simple! Read more

The food was very tasty also was more innovative and unique when compared with the standard fare even in good restaurants. The... Shaved Snow Pea - which has strawberries, Hot & Sour Tamarind, Peanuts, Pickled Chilis was excellent, so was the Crispy BrusselsSprouts which has a very savory, tangy sauce. Despite being full and having a lot of diners, the service was super quick; thequickest that we have seen. The servers were very knowledgeable and passed on the chef’s suggestions how to eat each some ofthe unique dishes very carefully. The manager, Cathy, was very nice and came to check on how we were doing 2-3 times. Clearlyshe was keeping the a close watch on the flow as well as making sure that the diners were happy with their food and service. Wehad an excellent experience and will definitely go there more often. Read more

Fantastic meal start to finish. I've been hearing great things about Goosefeather for awhile now, and finally had the chance to... enjoy a weeknight dinner at the restaurant. First off, it's hard to find a truly great (or even good) cocktail around. Evenmost high quality resterants have decent mixed drinks at best. Goosefeather on the other hand has an inspired drink menu and askilled mixologist. The drinks are both interesting, and extremely well made. The space itself is attractive, with an old worldcharm and a contemporary spin. It's charming, and unique. Every dish on the table was delicious! The fingerling potatoes wereshocking, who knew a potato could achieve such flavor. Read more
