Honestly, ?Taste of China? has been the best fast-cuisine in the area since being in Tarrytown for 5+ years. Went in recently... for pickup (in our ?post-pandemic? times), and it?s? been nice generally that places went ?back to normal? around here. Main St.looks proper and businesses are aligned with promotions and appearance for customers. Yet, TOC have not done this on ourstrip?every County I visit in NY and the greater US, have gone away with plastic wrap, barriers, and the such. ?Fine?but TOCcontinues to choose weird ordering processes and ridiculous changes to their restaurant. Looks third-world. They have storageboxes and incidentals behind the visible service ?barriers? at customer tables/floor to hold inventory and nonsense that looksdisgusting. Honestly, the owner and people are not taking care of the place, image, and likely the food at this point. CallingBS for a great town that doesn?t need muck service/food. Am I right? We visiting this little spot 6-7 years ago. My whole family love it! First I have to mention the sesame ball! I eat as a... dessert, it?s always the same good!My favorite !They have huge meal selection of everything, and they have vegetarian food also that?s what I usually order or soups. . I never leave without grab 2-3 mango bubble tea, so delicious! They have 2 tableoutside,that?s were we enjoyed the food yesterday?. What happened to this place? I ordered the vegan general tso?s and this sugar water with pink stuff and old veggies came.... Literally sugar water. Couldn?t even eat it. This place used to be so good. Read more
Wow...excellent food. I got the chicken and eggplant combination lunch. Wonderful tastes, egg roll just right. A place to go... back to again. Take out only now but table and chairs outside to sit. Read more
I ordered wonton shrimp soup. It was absolutely disgusting: the veggies were raw and the shrimps were tasteless. My friend had... steamed veggies with shrimp. The taste was bad as well but at least it was cooked. Don't go there! Read more
I ordered general Tso?s chicken for lunch and was very disappointed!! Me and my coworkers have been ordering from this place... for years but I?m not sure what happened to the quality of the food. The general Tao chicken did not have chicken in most ofthem pieces and the pieces that i got was so re fried I could not eat it. I had to throw this out and order from elsewhere. Read more
Non-terrible, American-style, cheap-style Chinese food, but at non-cheap prices. 3 stars rather than 2 because they have a nice... selection of vegetarian mock meats. Sauces are way too sweet, and many taste similar, and the vegetables are overcooked. Still,it's so hard to find Chinese restaurants serving mock meat in the Hudson Valley, so I'm grateful. Read more
