Definitely a country restaurant. The corn beef hash was THE BEST around. It is made in house. Yum! The Cinnamon bun pancakes... are a delight for the person with a sweet tooth. Read more

Very friendly staff. Busy Sunday, mid-morning but the wait wasn't bad. Lots of parking in the rear if the front lot is... full. Great menu options make it difficult for a first timer to choose! Coffee refills came frequently but our food was slow toarrive. Food preparation was great but our food was cold to slightly warm when it arrived. Biscuits and gravy and the countryham are great options. Cinna bun pancakes and regular pancakes would probably have been good if they had been hot or at leastwarm. Will definitely try Mary's again, they are a local staple and hope to get a quicker service so I can upgrade my review. Read more

Breakfast was okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong breakfast. Waitress was extremely friendly. My plain pancake had a strong cinnamon... taste which threw off my palette but my eggs and hoke fries were okay. My bf ordered a chicken biscuit and he said it wasdelicious so like I said, maybe I ordered the wrong breakfast :) Read more

We've been here many times, mostly for the breakfasts. We went last night for the special chicken. This was our second time on a... Thursday for the special chicken. Our first didn't go well either. Walked in and a tall guy said to sit anywhere so we took aseat in the backroom. After waiting 10 minutes for a server, menu's and drink, finally the tall guy came in and asked if anyonewaited on us yet, I said no and he said he'd be right back. Ordered two special chicken dinners, wife had French fries and cornnuggets, I had mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. Again the chicken was OK. Greasy fried chicken with the breadingcoming off, same as last time. Fake mashed potatoes and canned beef gravy. Green beans from the can which most places have. TheFrench fries and corn nuggets were good. For all the advertising about "home cooking" and all the foodie awards on your menu Ican't believe you serve imitation food. Here's the worst part. We got there at 515pm. We started eating at 6pm. A couple satdown next to us and the waitress came over with menus and said that they were sold out of the chicken. This is at 6pm!! Thecouple said no thanks, got up and left. This happened 3 more times till we finished out dinner. IF we ever come back it will befor breakfast or a dessert. Read more

BEWARE! I came to this restaurant on 7/28 for dinner. This is not country cooking this is bagged from sysco. That?s not the... problem the food was hard fry and not edible. Being in the industry I let it go.The problem I have is nowhere in the menu that Iseen does this establishment tell you that they charge a fee for using a credit card! It is illegal for a business to charge afee for using a credit card without first advising the consumer. I politely told the cashier server about my dislike of the feeand she says to me every business does this. NOT TRUE! A business builds that fee into their prices. I am contacting visa to letthem know of this illegal activity and I have disputed this charge with my bank. I find it totally wrong to do your customersthis way.I will never enter this place again. SCAM SCAM SCAM I want all the money I spent back I have pictures of the front doorand the menu my pictures don?t show that SCAM!!!!!!!! Crooked people will not succeed in the restaurant business Read more

Excellent authentic hearty breakfast. A hole in a wall kind of place that almost exclusively serves regular local customers. I... recommend the Eggs Benedicts, but everything they serve looked good. I heard from a local that the orange juice is a musttry... Apparently fresh-squeezed everyday. I will try it next time. Almost forgot to mention my incredibly friendly server...Really nice attentive and knowledgeable. Read more
