My boyfriend loves the pork chops here, but the last four times we called they were already sold out. This time they said they... still had it and when we got there they said there was one left, so we rushed our order to make sure he got them. No complaintsthere. Where we ran into issues was with the service. The server kept calling me and my daughter "babe" which was awkward andunappreciated - read the table, it was pretty clear it made us uncomfortable. When it came time to pay, our server (Brittaney,according to the receipt) boldly assumed who would be paying and handed the check directly to my boyfriend, however this mealwas intended to be my treat and I was paying. I used the QR code on the receipt to pay the bill, but then Brittaney came backand said there was a free dessert available so she had "deleted" the online payment, and reran my card for the over $100 tab -without so much as mentioning it to me first. I checked my bank account and it had now charged me over $200 for our meal, andwhen I asked about it, she assured me the initial charge would cancel itself after 2:00 am. NOPE. A week later, I had to callthe restaurant and again request my money back. I was told another 3-5 days until it should show up in my bank account (fine,that's standard). It ended up being a total of 10 days after our visit that I finally got my refund. Before you take the libertyof running a customer's card twice, I'd recommend checking with them first. I’ve come in here quite a few times and always had a decent dining experience even when orders have been messed up in the... past. I was in the area today and decided to stop by to grab dinner. It wasn’t super busy, and I was seated quickly. I sat atmy table for over 10 minutes without any servers acknowledging me, walked by me, and even cleaned the tables next to me andrearranged the tables and chairs. I know I was seen, but after waiting I got up and left because the couple the got seated afterme were instantly greeted by a server and received their drinks pretty quickly Read more
Omg the 10 lunch special was excellent. The grilled ham and cheese perfect the bread was golden brown the clam chowder was... thick. The salad was fresh and I had to get some of those delicious avocado egg rolls….they were 14.99 but you receive 6….Love this place Read more
My friend and I got three food items and none of them were good. I will say I didn't have a high expectation of the food because... its a chain restaurant. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly so I would return and give it another try.They have good drink specials. However, all of the cocktails were just loaded with non homemade flavored syrups and juices sodon't expect real craft cocktails. Overall it was a nice place to hang out. Just sitting here waiting for my carryout order. I love the food here, but sitting here seeing how busy they are and their staff... hustling, bartenders to waitstaff to hosts just gettin it, I'm reminded of how much I love the environment too. We were seated immediately because the restaurant wasn't too busy. Our waitress was excellent, at first. As the night... progressed, the service suffered even though the restaurant emptied out.. I understand the staffing challenges, but our serversimply disappeared. Forgotten drinks were blamed on someone else should have brought them. Missing dessert items came so latethey were no longer desired. BJ's chain wide seems to be hit-or-miss. I hope they figure it out as it appears to me that theissue is regional to Michigan. Have low expectations and you'll be fine. For my money, I'd rather spend it elsewhere. Read more
Been to the Lansing location b4, first time at this location. It wasn't bad due to the Holiday (VD) sat at the bar, didn't get... serve right away they said they were busy, didnt look that way to me, others got served that came after I did, nonetheless Ieventually got served had a great meal and a nice cold Berry Cider!
