We ordered the street tacos which ( my husband's choice ) I hadn't had before, he raved on and on about how good they were. Well... as for me I don't EVER have to go back again. They didn't have even a smidgen of seasoning and it took way to long for thepreparation for what was presented. Read more

My nephew (10) while stuffing his face said this is so delicious, you should give them a good review! Lol Tacos, salad, botana,... chips & sauces were all excellent. The waiter (new) was great, on the ball. Read more

Back to what it used to be!!!!!! My family had been coming here since 1977 and when they changed owners a few years ago we... stopped coming due to the change in taste. But we heard the previous owner recently came back to teach the recipes and the foodis almost exactly what it used to be!!!!!! We were expecting to be disappointed and were pleasantly surprised and so glad theoriginal Matador taste is pretty much back! Our waitress was also so friendly and attentive. Will start coming again ???? Read more

I was craving some Mexican cuisine and have been going to the Matador for 25 years now. I ordered my favorite Ground Beef and... Cheese ???? Enchiladas and also enjoyed some chips and Hot Sauce (They have Hot & Medium "Sauces" here rather than "Salsa".)and a cold glass of Sprite to wash it down. Once you're done, grab an order of Supa-pias to take away the "burn" from the HotSauce and it's a good dessert, light and covered in Honey and Cinnamon. Rick Zorn Read more

Overall, 4 stars. The venue has a beautiful decore. The blue really compliments the dark hardwood tables. Service was great. I... was greeted promptly at the door. The dining hall is well maintained and clean. The staff was extremely friendly! The food wasa major improvement since my last visit. The rice really complemented the dish. The refried beans seem to be missing something--I am just not sure what. The chicken chimichanga was good, but could be elevated a bit. It seemed rather dull, but asimi-balanced flavor-- the sour cream and guacamole really complimented the chicken, added to the texture and umami of thedish. I think what was missing was the sweet and sour components of the dish. Now for the finally, the chocolate cake. Was oneof the best I ever had. It was well balanced! Not overly sweet or bitter. It was light and creamy. The fluffiness of the cakewas super. I am happy they have gotten rid of the dated colored plates. Having the white ovels really helps to showcase thefood. Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience, and I definitely can wait to see what will come!! Great work MatadorTeam! 4 out of 5 stars ???? Read more
