We love our family at Vera Cruz in Cincinnati Ohio but were in the Taylor Mill area and stopped at El Jinete’s based on a reco... from a friend. Good menu without being terribly overwhelming and really good food. I ordered the Plato Loco and my wifeordered pork Chili Verde and both dishes were very tasty. This place is amazing. Always top notch food. For a lighter calorie cocktail, I really wish you would have a skinny margarita... available. We really enjoyed the experience. The service was a little bit off the waiter didnt wait to hear my drink order but got my... husband then just gave me a Coke???? i dont like coke but i let it go. But it got better before we left. The food on the otherhand was great we eat at alot of Mexican restaurants but so far this one has the most amazing food. I got the rice and shrimpand scallops. The scallops were a little over cooked the the shrimp and rice was great. My husband got the carnitas which wasfull of flavor and tender with a little crisp on the outside. The guacamole was great as well, not overpowered with garlic oronion if your in the taylor mill area and in the mood for Mexican food definitely give them a try. Read more
