Casual place, not fancy, very friendly servers. Wide variety on the menu. We had a drink and an appetizer which was good. Not... fancy but good home cooked food. Would be a great place to watch a game, have some food and a few beers. Read more
The place is nice and there was a good band playing on a Fri night but the service was very lacking ????.. a bartender looked... right at me from 3-4ft away and acknowledged me but didn't speak and finished with the drink she was making then she took it toa table on the floor and it took atleast 10 minutes later before we were actually waited on at the bar. (Husband had enough timeto go to the bathroom and come back and sit for 5 of the10 minutes it took) while I sat There was 1 waitress and 1 bartenderand they seemed to be overwhelmed even tho there were only approximately 25 people in the whole place and only 3 tables thatconsisted of a group of 3 people and one of 6 people and another of 2 ppl and as someone who has been in this same job positionI can truthfully say that no one was drinking heavily or requiring a lot of attention and my husband and I were very much inagreement that the staff was just not up to par for what they advertise and not busy enough for it to take 10 minutes to get adrink at the bar. When we were finally greeted and asked what we would like to drink the drinks were not complicated and stilltook another 5-6 minutes to be set in front of us and cash was on the bar to pay but not acknowledged and we were not asked ifwe wanted to start a tab and that just added to wait time when we were done with our drinks and ready to leave (and like myhusband when we arrived I had enough time to go to restroom while my husband tried to pay). Very disappointed in the service. Iwould have given 2 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they had a pinball and Ms. Pacman machine which took me back to somegood times when Arcades were everywhere and I was pretty good at pinball and did enjoy playing a few games with the exception ofthere being something sticky on the floor and very little space between the two machines to play pinball. They also have 1 pooltable but as avid players of the game we just felt like it wasn't the right atmosphere to play. Read more
Went on a Thursday night for music bingo, not very busy at all which I am a fan of. The space itself is a little weird but food... was pretty solid. I ordered a shrimp Caesar salad, it was big and flavorful. And I even won two rounds of music bingo. My onlycomplaint is that they were short staffed so the food was a little slow getting out. My two sisters and I were here for an early lunch last Thursday. We started with an order of onion rings which we shared. A nice... large amount, lightly battered and fried. Delicious! We each ordered different items: Pasta Primavera which came with a sidesalad, a 3 friend's French Dip with fries and onion rings (yes, they were that good), and I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak withfries. Everyone liked their food and we each took home half. The service was great and the place was clean. We will probably beback. Read more
Food was very good; however, my Shrimp Po'Boy only had 4 shrimp on it. Same for the other person at our table who ordered the... same entree. That was a little skimpy, if you ask me...especially for the price. The Shrimp and Grits was good, but a littlerunny. We went for Sunday lunch, with a party of 10, and there were lots of tables available. Good place to pick if you have alarge group on a Sunday. Read more
My husband and I were excited to see there was a take out/ online ordering option as we were pretty tired of mediocre Mexican... food and bland pizza. The first time we ordered I went to pick it up and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. Theonline order didn't print in the back even though I received email updates like the food was being prepped/cooked. She said ithappens often so maybe call before driving up there? So I had to wait an additional 25 minutes for them to make the food. Foodwas ok. Figured we'd try it again, get something different this time. Again, food was just ok. Their idea of medium well isdefinitely not my idea of medium well so if you don't want any pink in your burger ask for well done. The fries are also prettysalty. We ended eating here 3 different times, food's ok nothing really stood out as amazing. The inside is sneaky big though,definitely wasn't expecting it to be so big inside. Read more
Stopped in on a Friday evening after work for dinner. It was clean, lots of room and not very busy. All the employees were... super nice which was great. I ordered the mozzarella burger with fries. It was all just ok. The burger was just too dry for myliking and the fries didn't really stand out. The guests mostly seemed over 40 and the decor is rather bland. There was livemusic but it was all 70's adult contemporary and country music which I respect, but it was just a downer and brought theambiance to a lethargic state. Very friendly service however, based on the burger I had, I probably won't return. Read more
