Went to Scotty's on the same day that the Apple festival was going on, was in the area. Wanted to try a new restaurant, looked... (Googled) what was close by and saw Scotty's. Glad we stopped. Restaurant was packed, but 20 minute wait time was reasonable.Was greated by a sweet waitress. As full as the restaurant was, thought it would be awhile we drinks and received food. Absolutely loved this place! The staff was friendly, and our waitress was exceptional! The food was prompt, hot, and cooked to... perfection. My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing - the chopped beef steak with a salad, only I had a baked potato, and hehad fried okra (which I snuck a bite of... delicious!). We love coming here for breakfast. Its usually 25 dollars for My wife, 2 kids, and I. Food is pretty good, not quite as good as... home but darn close. The gravy might look a little off, but thats just how they make it. Its very good. Seems like they have hadthe majority of their staff for years which is a plus. Read more
