My first experience here was wonderful. However, I ordered a heavenly hash ice cream cake for my mother a couple of weeks ago... and it was not good. The whipped cream icing tasted as if it had been in the refrigerator for weeks and weeks and it turned outto be Rocky road ice cream instead of the heavenly hash that I ordered. I called and spoke to Steve and he said the icing wasprobably sour. Shouldn't they have tasted it before they put it on the cake? He is willing to make good on the cake but thebirthday is over and my disappointment can't be fixed. I drove 45 minutes because they're the only store that I could find thatoffers heavenly hash ice cream and then they gave me Rocky road. And for those of you that don't know heavenly hash ice cream issupposed to have almonds, chocolate chips and marshmallow sauce not almonds and little marshmallows. I don't even think I'mgoing back for them to make good on it it's probably not going to be worth the trip. Read more
The icream at Bischoff's is amazingly good. I need to taste every flavor. I've also had the chocolate layer cake, which is... delicious also. So great for this neighborhood to have this family owned business through the decades. It's been around thislong for a reason... It's so good! Read more
Loved it! Fantastic ice cream! I had the "Teaneck Special" with black raspberry and coffee royal ice cream (pictured) and my... hubby had a banana split. Delicious! Employees were friendly and engaging. Just a cute, little old-fashioned ice cream shoppe!We'll definitely be back! Read more
Best Ice Cream place in New Jersey. It's all made there, including the whipped cream and you can taste the quality. It's family... tradition to go for celebrations, birthdays, etc. Been going there since I was a kid. Battleship Sundae every time!! Read more
Ice cream is incredible. A true Jersey staple and especially one to those in Bergen County. They also have food and many other... items. Come for Easter Baskets, chocolates, and much more. Service staff was friendly and attentive which is helpful. They alsohave large quarts of ice cream for sale to take home. If you want a great family night, date night, or whatever I say do notmiss Bischoffs. Read more
I love this place. Great ice cream, all home made. I?ve been going here since I was a kid. I just went back for the first time... in almost 10 years to get a small ice cream cake to share with my daughter and my great aunt and uncle. They know the place toowell as Teaneck locals and were SO excited for it! My daughters father left his phone so I ended up going all the way back andcouldn?t leave without a sugar cone! There's definitely a rave when it comes to icecream, even better when it is homemade. Bischoff's Icrecream is certainly icecream... you can crave for with their abundance of options on the menu. We ordered the "Teaneck Special." Our two icecream flavors wereChocolate and Peach. The icecream was creamy, thick, and homemade made a big difference. I would recommend two people toshare. Chocolate Egg Creams was our drink. Interesting taste, my husband was a fan, I thought it was okay and didn't mindtrying it. When you enter Bischoff's Icecream and Candy, you feel you entered into a time machine. Nostalgic, plenty of othercandy treats to choose from and other gift ideas too. Read more
