Not your average restaurant food, they prepare a meal of at home away from home food with generous portions and a grand variety... ! I am a true believer of cooking from scratch and no box or can foods. I loved to cook until I got very ill still young withchildren and I can take them some where where I feel comfortable in knowing that we are getting a home cooked meal Read more

ALWAYS enjoy going here- at least a few times a month. The new menu is a little broader than the capsule one they reopened with,... although the 2 NEW THINGS we really wanted to try were already sold out!! We had a 7pm reservation, so it MUST be good! We'll beback I'm sure in the coming weeks! Read more

This is how my visit to The Station went last night. I really wish I was making this up. We're told there's a new menu. Order... drinks, and the waitress brings 2 pieces of cold, store-bought bread to a table of 4. I ordered a Shorts Hard Cider, and whenthe drinks arrive I'm given a totally different drink; Starcut Peach Hard Cider. Okay whatever, I'll still drink it. I open thecan and it explodes all over the table. I unravel my napkin to clean up and find that my silverware is dirty. The waitress triesto help me clean up with cocktail napkins. We order French Onion soup, and ask for more bread. Soup arrives, I had to stealsilverware from another table because our waitress disappeared. The soup; cheese on top is not melted, and the cup is filledmostly with bread. I had maybe two spoonfuls of broth. 30 mins goes by before we get another 2 pieces of bread in a basket. Iguess they were making up for the insufficient bread basket by overloading our soup bowls. Food arrives. I ordered Shrimp Mac nCheese. My food is cold, and the quality is more on par with a cheap diner. I politely ask the waitress to reheat my food. Mymom's salmon was horribly fishy, clearly not a quality piece of fish and certainly not worth 30 bucks. Her side of Mac was alsocold. My dad's smoked pork was dry. The mashed potatoes were unsalted and there was no salt on the table. The only thing any ofus thought was decent, were the Brussel Sprouts. If it wasn't for being at a family dinner where I wasn't paying, I would haverefused to pay this bill. My parents took to-go boxes, not for themselves, but to feed the dog. This restaraunt is servingsub-par diner food and charging Gandy Dancer prices. If you're going to market and price your restaurant as upscale, you betterserve upscale food and you better have good service or you're going to keep seeing reviews like this. The service was terribleand the food was terrible. I am never coming here again and I am furious my parents paid for this a Read more

Tried for the first time 8/27/22. We were excited to try it, but maybe our expectations were too high. Our waitress was... attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food, however, though plated and presented well, was sub par and not worth the price. Iordered the steak, expecting a steak...instead I got cold steak fajitas that were chewy, both for the fat content and for beingover done. My wife ordered the chicken and it was over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. She could only eatparts of it, due to a concern of salmonella and the general unpleasantness of chewy chicken that feels more like sushi. Themashed potatoes were decent, though. The cast iron table on the patio was sticky, the menus were torn and stained by drinks andall around gross, and the music selection was obnoxious and too loud. Read more

I visited this establishment one early evening with my friend and her 6-week-old daughter, and the service could not have been... more accommodating. Although the food was far from inexpensive, it exceeded any expectations I may have had entering therestaurant. You can tell that every element of your dining experience is prepared with the kind of culinary expertise you couldeasily find in any metropolitan area. The ambience was incredible, and they certainly are advocates for their community (bybringing in business from local farms and their craft beer selections reflect that as well). I would not only recommend thisrestaurant, but I hope to return there sooner than later! Read more
