This Del Taco sucks. The staff is friendly but 3/3 times I have come here, I?m in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes, this... most recent time there was literally no one in line and I was there for 20 mins. The first time I was there for a half hour andcouldn?t leave since I was blocked in. But even after all the waiting somehow my order has been wrong every time, and not justmildly. I got food I didn?t even order and didn?t get what I did order. And it was all cold as ice. I don?t understand it. I?deven be fine with the wait if the order was accurate and fresh. Read more
Cold beans and weird taste they put green and red mixed together. I'm assuming they made a mistake and did the " who cares I'm... not eating this" lowzy thing to do and just wrap the already falling apart old tortilla in it's final cold unmelted cheeseyobviously under half pound excuse for del tacos usual very hot most basic food to prepare.i love d o taco but the staff werebasic careless people. Now this freakn place freakn sucks. They are always understaffed and sometimes the cook is doing food. Not good it's the worst... service around. But the problem is our women love this place. The owner I once saw cashier cook and all else. I swear. She mustnot be nice. If I owned this place this would not be an issue at all. I would appreciate the heck out of it. Drive-thru: I was pleasantly surprised. Portion size was bigger than in Bakersfield. I only ordered one Chicken and Guacamole... crunchtada for myself. Which normally fills me up, but I couldn't eat all of this. The guacamole was hitting the top of the box.???? Read more
I am usually really friendly and patient with fast food staff because I think people can be unnecessarily rude to them but the... Tehachapi Del Taco SUCKS. I recently went and splurged on a steak and bacon burrito. When I got home I bit into it and it wascold chicken and Guac, which didn't match my order receipt. Biting into a burrito thinking it is going to be steak and findinginstead cold Guac and lettuce is a travesty. I returned to get the correct burrito and the drive through line had 8 cars in it.I tried to go into the lobby but the door had a trash bag tied around the handle to keep the door shut. I cut my loses andbounced because I didn't have time to wait an hour in line. The staff are generally friendly but always under staffed and slow.This location needs new management. I recently contacted corporate about how this location is inconsistent with every other DelTaco I have been to. I recommend not going to this location until management is changed. I stopped in for lunch and had a double Dell cheeseburger combo. Includes a french fry and a soda. Out the door it?s less than... eight bucks. It was pretty good. The restaurant was very clean and the rest room was also clean. I ordered my food and wassitting down and eating in less than five minutes, I had no complaints. Read more
