Wow! Everything I read about about it was true. No wonder it's been winning awards consistently. Friendly and honest staff. I... had BBQ brisket red cabbage slaw and Indian Fry bread with the works( powdered sugar, butter and honey). Heaven! I've had BBQall over America, this is some of the best brisket I've tasted! Not inexpensive but great with nice portions. Nice craft beers,indoor dining and outdoor menu. It can get busy, they've earned it. In business about 12+15 years. Incredibly disorganized. I?ve never seen staff at a barbecue restaurant so flustered. They?re usually the most nonchalant in the... business. I do not like places where you have to order in line then find a seat. That should be reserved for fast food places.Waited in line over 20 min to get informed it?ll take 40 min for my food but overheard the person in front being told they wouldpush their order to the front of the line. If I knew people were getting special treatment and I would have to wait so long toget my food then I would?ve went somewhere else. Tables aren?t cleaned off well. They just pick up the food and call it good.Never saw anyone wipe a table down. You?ll have to shoo flies off your food while you eat Not any cell service inside Iwaited an hour for the driest brisket on earth that required bbq sauce to be able to consume. This was an amazing barbecue experience! The brisket was tender and juicy and the ribs fell right off the bone! The chili was... deliciously spicy and the house sauces added just the right kick of flavor. This restaurant decor hails back to pioneer days andhas several memorials for veterans. There is even an indoor water feature! All of this adds up to an authentic American barbecueexperience that is worth the wait! Read more
BBQ can be so hit or miss. This place was a huge hit. We had a chicken plate, pulled pork plate and frybread. The portions were... decent sized and the meats were deliciously tender. I wasn't too fond of the baked beans but the red cabbage slaw wasridiculously good. I could have eaten another container of it myself. Pleasant surprise off the beaten path with good food and friendly employees. The prices were good and the portions were generous... but we liked most was the unique ambiance and outdoor patio dining.
