We attended the annual Veritas Holiday Wine Pairing event and it was exquisite! We had a lovely apéritif followed by 5... perfectly paired wines. Stopped by on Sunday afternoon during a road trip. Decent wine and food menu, but the overall experience was ruined by people... who had been over-served. One group of women had at least a bottle of wine per person at the table next to us - very loud,cackling, and crude. No effort was made by the waiters/bartenders to quiet the group; in fact, they seemed to know each other.My friends and I went outside so we could talk to one another.... I was cat-called and whistled at by a gentleman as soon as Iwalked on the patio. Not the experience I expect when I visit a wine bar, and I worked in the wine/hospitality industry forseveral years.
