I truly enjoyed my experience here. I was a solo diner and felt so comfortable throughout the dinner. Never once did I feel out... of place despite the couples and groups beginning to fill the tables around me. The staff was friendly and provided amazingservice. The kitchen also didn't disappoint. Superb food and service! We started with seared foie gras and grilled octopus and had bison short ribs and elk t bone. They were... all so delicious and I have to say the bison and elk were just perfect! Oh and watermelon slap back cocktail was so yummy that Igot 2 :) Read more
Seriously incredible. We had such an incredible meal and there were so many other things we wanted to try on the menu. Cannot... wait to get back to Telluride. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was very clear that the food was fresh and had a healthier"homemade" feel. It is very special that 221 is chef-owned. I am vegan and was impressed by the extensive offering. Read more

Amazing vegetarian options, cocktails, and desserts! I'm not sure why they asked if it was a special occasion, b/c they didn't... do anything different until we mentioned we just got engaged around dessert, but the food was phenomenal! Read more
