The food was really good. This is how second time going to this place. I think they have real authentic Italian food without... question. This is a definite place to try during your visit to Telluride. However the food is a little expensive but it's wellworth it. I would recommend you to try out it. Read more
This place is above exceptional. This is by far the best Italian experience I've ever had - and I've had a lot of... them! Appetizer, entrees, even the bread; each time I found myself once again scouring the plate. From the crispness of thelettuce to the perfection of the bread - you just can't go wrong here. My personal favorites are the ravioli, calamari andcreme brulee. Highly recommend making it a serious point to stop here if you're in telluride! Read more
Was looking forward to visiting Rustico as I've heard so much about it. I live in the area & work in Telluride. After dining... here, I'm sorry to say, I was not impressed. First off, the service was lacking. Our waiter for the entire 2 hours we werethere, came by our table a whopping total of 4 times. For a place that bills itself as fine dining, the service solidly wasnot. My plate, the fettuccini mare didn't live up to the menu description. I was skeptical about a light marinara with seafoodbut too the chance. The sauce seemed on the bland side and the dish overall, uninteresting. The best part of it was theolives. My wife had the half chicken. Again, I was disappointed. The chicken, while cooked good, was dry. It was served withoutglaze, reduction or any type of jus. The potatoes were I'm afraid to say, just potatoes. Nothing about this dish wowed me (orher). Service can be excused in the current times with places opening & scrambling to find employees. But the food? I'm sorry,but there is no excuse for $15 quality at $36 prices. Read more
The servers were excellent, but the food was sub par for the prices. Food was bland. One person in our party ordered the egg... noodle and mushroom special. It was $50 for a tasteless meal with just porcini mushrooms and pasta. Wine is drastically overpriced. The only reason why it gets two stars is because of the servers. There are far better places in Telluride to get dinner. Read more
