Very upscale yet down to earth winery. We loved the view, the food, the service, and the wine. I still like Peltzer wine a bit... more, but these wines were still really nice. We would come back! Read more

Sunday lunch date with the husband. We live right up the hill so it's our goal to visit all the wineries in Temecula. Altisima... is my favorite so far for the amazing view, staff, wine, ambience, and modern flare (4 stars). The three entrees on their menuwere not appealing at the time so we went with "order all the apps" route. Food was so so hence my 3 stars (shrimp we alsoordered is not pictured)...I was expecting a more specialized or "different take on things" menu to match the vibe the winerygives off. Hopefully they expand their menu to include more entree selections (if that is an intention). The White Merlot wasdelicious so ended up purchasing a bottle on the way out. It's a gorgeous place...we'll be back. Read more

The wine was very good and really enjoyed the food. Nick was very knowledgeable about the winery and the region. It was so nice... talking with him. Service in the restaurant was very good. Read more

Great views, great wine. We went for Valentine's Day lunch and had the 2019 Zinfandel and a salad. Would be nicer with a wider... menu, but given that the place has just opened, I'm hoping they'll add to the menu as things progress. Read more

We were invited here by friends. So thankful because it was a great experience. We enjoyed their wine and stayed for lunch. I... must add that the winery is Altisima but the restaurant is labeled as ?Gaspar?s at the vineyard? I say this because Gaspars doesnot come up on the search yet. For a smaller restaurant we were amazed with the service on a weekday. It was somewhat busy butour wait staff were all very attentive and pleasant. Big thank you to Cameron who somehow provided her smile right thru herrequired mask. We will be back soon. Read more

From all the wineries I have visited in Temecula throughout the years, this one is one of my favorites! Very chic, modern, and... elegant. I highly recommend the blood orange flavored beer they have on draft, while others in my group recommend theirCabernet. Beautiful views, great live music, plentiful parking & sitting space - both indoors and outdoors. In addition, theyare dog friendly, so it was a pleasant surprise to see so many dogs around the property. Read more

Wow!! If you like Spanish wines this is the place. Great views from the restaurant and the food was delicious, but we only... ordered from the small bits section. 10 tastings of Reds. Every single one was amazing. Will be back to this winery. It has onlyopened since Oct. 2021. Read more

After hearing some great reviews from friends about the recently opened Altisima, we made reservations for a tasting and lunch... afterwards on a Sunday. It was quite busy, but with a spacious tasting area, it didn?t feel crazy packed which was very nice. Our server Lauren, was delightful and helpful. Tastings were 5 for $25. We especially enjoyed the Tempranillo, La Reina(Altisima?s G.S.M. version with Sangiovese instead of Syrah) and the Cab. After our tasting, Lauren was happy to show us aroundthe gorgeous, large members area on the upper level, complete with lots of comfy seating for parties of all sizes and a stunningview. While you can order a few small bites from the members lounge, it was a bit disappointing and surprising to hear that youcan?t just order from the Gaspar?s menu (which isn?t extensive to begin with). Hopefully with time, that may change. Our lunchwas pleasant, with beautiful views, awesomely perfect guitar entertainment (Vahagni) and great wine. My husband?s burger wasvery good, but my California Chicken sandwich was really subpar. The chicken cutlet was super thin and quite blackened andtotally overcooked. On the positive side, the fries and bacon were super crisp as requested! I should have alerted our server, which I didn?t because they were busy and I didn?t want to wait for a new meal. Overall, we really enjoyed Altisima and wouldhave joined on the spot, had the food been outstanding and available in the members area. I totally understand that they?re abrand new winery and will be going through changes as they grow. We?ll definitely be back and look forward to perhaps joining atsome point. Read more
