I walked in on a busy Friday night and explained that I had some food allergies, and I understand about cross contamination,... however the order ahead of me had bananas which I'm deathly allergic to. I told the young woman working and she immediatelyunderstood my concerns. She washed her hands as I asked to alleviate if she had any bananas on her. She then started a new orderand used the sanitized machine in the back. I had no issues and didn't get sick. Thank you for going above and beyond! Read more
The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The ice cream cone...awesome as always. my daughter's decision to get the sundae... was wise. That thing was great. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars (from my humble point of view) is the price. Alittle high. Read more

Will never go to this location again. We've dropped in only occasionally over the past 6 or 7 years, but it's the same every... time. It has always had a horrible smell. The employees seem like they are all depressed and being forced to work there. Nosmiles or polite greetings. I feel like I've totally inconvenienced them by asking them to serve me ice cream. It always takesso long for my ice cream to be served. One time we were trying to go to celebrate after my son's baseball game. We were soexcited after a great game and there was still plenty of time to stop by before they closed, but when we got there they hadalready locked the doors and had the chairs up on the tables, 20 minutes before closing time! Now we only go to the one on CalOaks. The staff at the Cal Oaks DQ seem almost unnaturally happy to be there. They are always incredibly helpful. The locationis clean and the service is fast.
