I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant that claims to be family friendly. I ordered a large meal for pick up to... feed my family in a time of tragedy and was told that it would be ready in an hour. I arrived to pick up my order just 10minutes over the hour and the closing staff claimed that there was no order made the closing team had my food sitting on thecounter. My husband called them trying to find out what happened with the order and MARY stated that we were to late picking itup so they threw it away. I spend the next hour ordering and picking up food to replace what they refused to give me. The nextmorning I called for a manager and was told I would get a credit for my full meal. About 15 minutes later she called me backclaiming to be a manager and was just a lead. She stated that the OWNER told her I could not have the full credit. I was upsetand asked to speak with the owner, she stated that she would pass in my information. I received NO call back. I called again andasked for a manager or to speak with the owner, I was told by SAVANNA that they were to busy to speak with me and that PEDROanother (maybe) manager was to busy as well. I was lied to and brushed off by several employee's there. I have been a long timefaithful customer. Who knows what else goes on after hours there. This is the problem with hiring children to do customerservice and have no management to babysit them. Read more
Food is Fantastic!! Can't say enough about this gem in Temecula. Prices are unbeatable! Come hungry. Also, their hot and fresh... french baguettes are amazing! Try their house dressing if you desire a salad. Delicious ???? Read more
First time trying Fillippi's after try to get here for a long time. I have to say i was disappointed. We tried the dinner... special which is a ton of food and at a great price so its a family favorite. The quality of the food is good . I enjoyed thesalad , the spaghetti and and lasagna is really good its just not something I go out for very often, but i was reallydisappointed with the pizza which was very surprising because I don't think I like most pizza's. When I bit into the pizza all I tasted was flour. Because of the fact that I don't eat spaghetti and lasagna out often I love pizza but not thereunfortunately don't think I will be back. Read more
We are Filippi's customers for more then 30 years and today we ordered to go an the food was different tasted liked reheated... pasta, the texture and look was bad. I called the restaurant and asked to talk to Martha, Norma's sister the owner...Martha wasvery rude and mad saying I was the first one to call and complain "today". It was very clear she did not wanted to heard andsaid she is going to put us on a free list...I was not asking and I refuse free food I just wanted them to know the our lasagnastotally look and tested like reheated. The missing stars are for the specials that you can only enjoy while dining in. The food is out of this world especially the... lasagna. The cheese in the lasagna is so fluffy, soft, amazing. The pizza crust tastes wonderful and is crisp with a soft center(the sign of a well cooked dough). On the flip side the restaurant is always super crowded and loud making food a little lessenjoyable. The service is hit or miss and they can be neglectful unless you get the owner’s daughter she is the best. Read more
The wife n I tried this place last week. We are glad we did ! We tried there lunch special, a pizza ???? 2 salads ???? and... spaghetti ???? and lasagna and bread for $25 bucks... and it was delicious. Friendly staff, great tasting food, nice lookingplace. So for lunch or dinner, with friends or family go try them out. You will be glad you did. Read more
I really enjoyed an Eggplant Parmesan Hero sandwich I picked up this week for lunch. It was large. I ate half as soon as I got... home and saved the rest for another meal. Warmed up in the oven it was as good as the first time. The fillings were generousand tasty. Plenty of cheese. Good quality crusty bread. I thought the price was reasonable for the size andquality. Filippi's is a retro old-school place which hasn't been redecorated in years. Good. It's a refreshing change fromall the cookie-cutter strip mall places. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful. Food has been just ok the last few times (pizzas are always pretty good, everything else is a pass). Tonight was not good - it... was take out. Not only was it $20 for 2 small cannelloni and a side salad, it just lacked flavor. The sad salad had 1 smallchunk of tomato, 1 small pepperoncini and 1 green olive. Garlic bread was also included in the dinner. I guess inflation thereis much higher prices, much smaller portions and try to fill you up on bread. It's time to find a better Italian restaurant.
