The food was outstanding! We were there for my birthday and we arrived early enough not to need a reservation. It is small and... quaint with a charming atmosphere. The staff is fabulous. We stopped in here on our way back to San Diego after a weekend of wine tasting and spa time in Temecula. It was such a hidden... gem! We were seated quickly and our server was sweet, even though she was on her own with several other tables. We ordered theItalian Benedict and the Italian Baked Eggs & Sausage. Absolute perfection! Excellent service, atmosphere perfect, server was a delight. I had the lasagna and it was one of my top favorites of all time... and I eat them everywhere all over the country! A must have folks. First time here and we had a wonderful experience. We waited a few minutes to get seated, there were no actual menu's available... to peruse but they did offer us their tablet to view what was being served. We placed our order with our very friendly andaccommodating waiter! We brought our own wine in for a minimal corkage fee :) We had the meatballs and the pear gorgonzola saladas a started, both were very good! Had the Vitello Marsala it was delicious and the Bucatini alla Amatriciana was suberb! Muchmore to be had, we will be back!!! Read more
This spot is more so of a date spot rather than a casual spot. The food is good but not really phenomenal. The best thing that... I've ate was the bread that they gave, but that might've been a mistake on my part for ordering. The fried calamari and shrimpwas good and the calamari wasn't chewy at all, but there was only two pieces of shrimp. We weren't really a fan of the red sauceand liked the cream sauce from the gnocchi much better. It's kind of pricy with most of the entrees being ~$23 and appetizersbeing ~$11 and desserts are ~$8. My husband brought me here for valentine's day dinner, and all I can say is WOW!! The food was fantastic, so flavorful and the... portions are huge. We will definitely be back again and again!! Great atmosphere, you can dress up for a nice dinner out, or gocasual for a nice meal They have a full bar, and the restaurant is extremely clean.
