I was so sad the ribs weren’t fall off the bone soft. Instead they were super dry. The reason for the two stars instead of one... is the mac & cheese and fries were good. A little under seasoned with the fries, but good. I got a whole rack which was evenmore upsetting. The two stars also is because the Texas hot sausages were good. We got the kids meal and my son couldn’t eathis ribs they were too chewy and dry. Beer can chicken was super tender. Read more
The best BBQ place ever. Beats Phils by a mile long. The meat is smoked perfect and a much of a variety of sides. Went here for lunch after doing some shopping. My sister and I split a rack of ribs with the Cole slaw and jalapeño cornbread.... I wish they had just normal cornbread, but their buns with the applebutter...sooo good. It all tasted delicious, service wasgreat, sat outside and people watched. Read more
Gave four stars because there’s always room for improvement… Had the deviled eggs, kind’ve plain basic flavor wouldn’t... recommend nor order again, they should add sweet relish OR chopped jalapeños to the egg mixture to give it some type zest….Had the St Louise Ribs / Chicken combo with the greens and mixed vegetables, everything was good ESPECIALLY because of the heattemperature wise, food temperature will always be the winning factor for me in the end… Read more
I had the wonderful pleasure of finally going to Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ today. As someone NOT born and raised in Cali, it was... AMAZING to eat good BBQ like we have in the Midwest. Well it was a decent run but nothing good last forever. My family comes here about once a month. Food and service has always... been great. Last two times not so much. Visited today and the bathrooms were pretty gross. There was mold down the wall andfloor by the hand towels. Almost like it was just surfaced cleaned. I suppose with COVID not being in the media as much there isroom to slack in cleanliness. Service the last couple times has been lacking. Paying $4.25 a drink I would expect a refill atsome point but maybe asking too much. The food was decent but didn’t expect a warm chicken salad sandwich from sitting in theexpo too long. Now on to the burger and fries. The bun was soggy by the time we got it and the oil in the fryer probably needschanged seeing the fries were darker than the hamburger. Didn’t want to leave a negative review but for the money I feelsomething had to be said. Read more
