Updated review: We initially had a pretty bad experience (read below). The next day the manager Vivian called us and wanted to... hear our side of the story. After listening to us she was so sweet and apologized, she asked us to give them another chance andwould give us 10% off, and free delivery to our air bnb in Fallbrook. She sounded so genuine and explained it?s a family ownedbusiness so was bummed to hear about our experience/ our initial poor review. We ended up ordering food, she texted us updatesthe whole time and drove the food down to us herself. We all answered the door and she personally apologized to everyone and ourbride. She even brought 2 bottles of champagne to celebrate the bachelorette! Overall her customer service and genuine apologiessaved our experience. I give her 5 stars and the food was amazing! First time here. Met up here with a friend, it was her first time here also. I had the cochinita pibil plate, and a margarita... flight she had a chile relleño with no red sauce (requested it like that). I liked my plate, it was well seasoned, it came withsome homemade tortillas, rice and beans were also good. I also requested something spicier, the habanero salsa was good.Margaritas were small but strong. My favorite was the Jamaica/Hibiscus one. So good! We also had fried ice cream and flan,birth were good. Service was really good. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the plate. Came upon this restaurant by accident. We were taking a walk and decided to walk in because the other restaurant we put our name... in had a 45 minute wait and we were hungry. The place is very open and nice. We sat at the bar and ordered the hibiscusmargaritas. It was pretty good, a little strong so I only had the one. They brought us chips and salsa and they were excellent.The chips tasted fresh, just the right amount of salt and the salsa was delicious. I ordered albondigas and it came in a largebowl, tasty but too much soup for me. Maybe they can give you the choice of a cup or bowl. My friend had the chicken tostada andsaid it was great. Finally got to experience this new cantina in Old Town Temecula. Definitely would recommend the Vampiro Flight, Cotel de... Camaron, and any of the tacos. The chips and salsa checked out and the kids liked their meals as well. Overall, good familyexperience. Read more
I haven't had a chimichanga that good in decades!! Yes, decades!! Los Castillo's in Westminster closed 10/2000. All of the meats... here have such wonderful flavor which make the tacos (or any plate you order) most enjoyable. Read more
