The wait, to be seated, was fast. The host and waitress were really nice. The food was straight nasty. Pancakes were dry and... small with no flavor. The sausage links were trash and cold. Eggs were normal. DO NOT ORDER SAUSAGE LINKS. Overall- not comingback.. ty The End. Read more
Its been years since I ate here! Let me first start with how yummy the coffee is here wow! When we arrived we had just a 20... minute wait. We actually sat were seated in 15 minutes. We ordered our food and it came right out! Although it does take someextra time for the apple pancake to be made we were so lucky that one was ready due to an error at someone else's table!!!! Really wanted to love it, but it didn't happen. The place was really crowded and had a 20 minute wait time. I ordered pancakes... of course and also two eggs and two sausage. The food came out in good time and the plates were hot. Unfortunately the foodwasn't as hot as the plates. In fact I would say my sausage was cold. They did give me new sausage that was warm but still nothot. Anyway, the point of this visit was some good pancakes. But my pancakes definitely had a baking soda flavor. Overall noneed to go back. Waiting for a table didn't take long. Our food came out pretty quick, maybe 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered. Potato pancakes... and buttermilk pancakes ALWAYS delicious????. Our server, Paola was very nice! Read more

Better than IHOP!! So many different kinds of pancakes, crepes, waffles, and French toast choices plus more. The regular coffee... was good. I really liked the vanilla creamer in the container and the wood stick to stir my coffee. The food was good too. Ihad eggs Benedict with the pancake potatoes. The waitress was attentive and polite. The two hostesses were great too. It took abit long to get the food but it was worth it. It was busy. Will definitely return. Read more
Ordered an apple pancake which was HUGE, definitely not expected but it was really good. We also got fresh strawberry pancakes... (with actually fresh strawberries) and buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips which we enjoyed as well. The apple juice and OJwere also very food and freshly made. Good portions for a good price. I simply love the apple pancake at The Original Pancake House. I have been to many of the around the country. Chicago, Orange... County California, Seattle even the original house in Portland, Oregon. Each time the quality and consistency of this marvelouspancake is the reason why I keep coming back to enjoy this special treat. Yes you can certainly order regular breakfast itemsbut if you have never had the Apple Pancake, you MUST give this a try!
