We love going to the Tap for fish and chips on Fridays. They also have amazing quality wings! They often have live music which... adds to the already amazing atmosphere. A lot of their food is sourced locally which is really great for the local economy andpays tribute to the deep agricultural roots of the New Liskeard area. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Amazing food, amazing service and such a beautiful atmosphere. We ate at tap that tonight to celebrate two birthdays- everyone... was beyond impressed! Best butter chicken I have ever had AND the best pickled Caesar. The restaurant itself is so welcoming andcozy- it has a vibe like no other restaurant in town. Got a same day reservation on Google for a very last minute dinner plan. Atmosphere is amazing inside, spacious patio, very... friendly staff and relaxing lowfi music made for a great vibe. The butter chicken poutine and the brunch burger were amazing.Hubby had the double tap and was very pleased and dad had the fish and chips which he said were incredible. Hubby tried theDevils Rock Ceasar and isn't a blue cheese fan but loved it and I had the pickle Ceasar. 10/10 would recommend this place andwill be back without question next time we are in town. Great ambiance and servers. But they forgot about my meal. Took us 50 mins from arrival to get our appetizers. Not great when... you have a 3 year old. They didn't have everything on the menu then forgot about my meal. The lobster ravioli had way too muchcream and tasted like crab. I'd probably go back but would get staples and have to mentally prepare myself for a waaaiiiittt.... Read more

Tap That Kitchen + Bar is newly renovated, clean, and friendly. I had the steak and frites last night and a couple of beers.... Their cut of steak was amazing and fries were delicious. I ordered the chicken tenders. One of my boys ordered the "Benny" burger and my other boy ordered the Double Tab That burger. ... They also ordered a poutine because they had heard it was good. The chicken tenders came with butterfly chips and tasty dilldip for the chips and sweet and sour sauce for the chicken. All the food was good and honestly the chicken tenders were thebest I've had in the area so far. One thing that could have been better is the food wasn't ready for pick up when they said itwould be.
