Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive to our needs. I had the catfish, potato salad and the cajun fries. It was all... good, I didn't give 5 stars because the catfish didn't have any flavor to it. They should add that Cajun seasoning to it. Nowthat would be 5 stars! The hushpuppies were so good! My husband hates them but since these had jalepenos in them and had someheat he really liked them. He had the Dungeness crab and sausage. I mean it Dungeness so it was amazing! Newest angrycrab open in my area! Its friday night and everything was great, it was my first time ever to trying out for angry... crab and we loved it! Spent around $170 with all the drinks, totally worth it. A lot of food and we know what to order for nexttime! Oh and service was top note. Our server, Christina! Thank you! Grand Opening night. Arrived at roughly two hours before closing time, not busy but would say steady for a typical Tuesday... night. Out of clam chowder unfortunately. Purchased the Boil for Two. Spent roughly around 150$, was charged extra for butter,believe we were short on shrimp only received six pieces. Typically when given the bag of seafood the sauce and seafood has agood mixture throughout all the food. The sauce was limited and only covered a portion of the bottom of the seafood. Waitresswas new understandable, but wasn?t given gloves or any utensils until after our food was brought out. Overall was to excitedexpecting the same excellent service and quality of food as other Angry Crab Shacks in Phoenix. As a resident here in Tempe,would recommend Alma School Rd. The location in Mesa is worth the drive, great service, great music & food never disappoints.Plus if you?re going to spend a pretty penny might as well be worth it. Read more

This place is a GREAT addition to the neighborhood. Excellent food, nice people and an awesome vibe inside and out. The "bag of... shrimp" is awesome. Get a little spice on it! They let you choose different types and spice levels. #3 or #4 will probably doyou right. The gumbo rocks, the crab rolls, scallop bowl, shrimp costini thingys, gumbo fries, fish and chips are all great,too. I'll work my way through the rest of the menu, soon. Happy hour is 3-6pm with good food and drink specials. They have anice bar and a good sized outdoor patio. SO glad they have opened here in South Tempe! We like their Style, for sure... Read more
