Ate here yesterday night around 8pm? *Good Customer Service will take businesses very far*? not only did my husband & I get... treated so rudely ( guy taking the order )?We witnessed him being rude to everyone that came in to pick up their orders. Now onto the food We ordered two pepper steak and rice combos and I asked the guy to add scallops in my pepper steak combo? Our comboscame out and the beef was rubbery, the veggies were hot and undercooked, I ONLY HAD 2 MEASLY SCALLOPS in my combo- then wenoticed pork in our rice ( my husband doesn?t eat pork ) they were hesitant on remaking his food?The egg rolls that came withthe combos were also super over cooked? The food here is good, not great, most of the time. It is the service that is absolutely terrible. The young man that works the... front counter is very cold and never greets you or thanks you. He makes me feel like we are bothering him. When he answers thephone I have to ask if this is the restaurant because he just says hello in a very cold manner. If I was the owner I wouldreplace him immediately, I am sure he is hurting the business. I will not be returning to Hot Wok because of him. Read more
2 stars only because previously the wings were pretty incredible. The last 13 years have been generally okay food & pretty good... service. They used to have the best wings. No longer. The rest of the food is just average. Not worth the cost of food & wait.Technically outside their delivery radius but only reason even know about them is they put a flyer on the door soon upon movingin. Called today to ask if I just got old & dry wings or if they changed the recipe. They told me they changed the recipe. Not sure why this place has medium reviews. Perhaps there haven't been enough people reviewing. The fried rice is still the best... here than anywhere else. The size of portions to cost ratio is fantastic. In terms of Chinese Food, this place is authentic andvery tasty. Read more
What is this dish called?? It is incredible. Also some egg drop soup that is good with some white rice. Both incredible. Plus... ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo, the fried rice and egg roll it comes with they?re all so good. I can?t think ofanother Chinese food place in AZ that will compare. I ordered from here because a family member bought me some egg foo yung a couple months ago... and I thought it was the second... best egg Foo yung I've ever had since Sing High closed down. (That was my favorite). I ordered shrimp egg foo yung...delicious but lacking in shrimp. I maybe had 1 or 2 pieces of shrimp in my patty. ???? The pork fried rice was tasty just aweird orangy color.
