The best tortas in our area. We love trying the Jugos Naturales, they are always made fresh to order and they are made with an... actual juicer. You can order a regular size torta or mini, love that option. The restaurant is always clean, the service isalways impeccable, and the food is never a miss. Definitely recommend! Read more
I heard about this place and it did not disappoint! The staff were super nice and explained what was made in each one. they... never got frustrated and we super friendly to me and my family. Authentic. It?s a good sign when patrons appear to be locals. Not really ?cheap eats? but worth a visit, satisfying dishes. Went... with torta nortena pollo and torta de ray, both are ?signatures dishes? at the restaurant and recommended. King tacos (steak)were good but average value. I found this place during a lunch break. I stopped because this place claims to be the king of the torta?so of course I had to... try it. As I walked in I saw the man versus food poster on the wall, apparently this show came here back in the day. I feel likethis place has been coasting on their reputation because I tried their Cadillac torta. The torta EL REY. I was expectingmagical. I was sorely disappointed ??. The telera bread needed to be toasted to bring out the flavor of the bread. The carnitaswere old rubbery and flavorless. The smoked chicken breast was old and flavorless as well. Chef wrapped some old meats around aomelette fresh avo, ham and chicken fried steak. If everything was fresh and made to order, this might be fire. But as it standsit was a serious let down.
