While waking on Mesa Road, we needed to stop and get some food and water to escape the heat. We stopped in at Mellow Mushroom... and the server there was on point. He knew we weren?t from here by how much water both of us were drinking and he must havefilled our waters 4-5 times. He even gave us to-go cups of water which was fantastic service. After hearing his recommendationon the thin crust, we opted for a custom large thin crust pizza (1/2 & 1/2) with one side containing pepperoni and the othercontaining chicken, ricotta & caramelized onions. We waited for a bit, but the pizza came out fresh and had a great crunch toit. The crust itself is not your standard white crust. The stone-baked pizza came out crunchy to the bite while also deliveringon flavor. The pizza was well-done and had minimal flop. Overall the thin crust itself was the steel of the show but thetoppings were plentiful. The ricotta was creamy and complemented the pizza without being overwhelming. The caramelized onionsand chicken balanced it out to create a great slice. Very happy we went with the waiter?s recommended thin crust. One thing tonote though is that their marinara sauce is on the sweeter and tangy side. Good thing to note when it comes to finding the idealtoppings! My wife enjoyed the standard pepperoni and she enjoyed her slices. Overall for $35 after tip, it was a place to stopin for dinner and would recommend to others when near Arizona State University. Great place with a great atmosphere and amazing food! I got a ?Wild In Havana? at it was amazing! I would recommend it to... anyone who has a slightly adventurous palate. I got a small which was plenty of food for an adult male. He server was a littleslow, and that was noticeable since it wasn?t particularly busy. I?d go again, and recommend it to anyone in a heart beat! Read more

I didn?t love the buffalo pizza I tried and did not like the Moscow mule they made. It was pretty pricey for a meal I didn?t... particularly enjoy. I appreciated the gluten free pizza option they had for another member of the group I was with who neededit. But overall not impressed with the food or price. I did like the octopus mural on the wall and the decoration/atmospheregenerally inside which is why I?m still giving 3 stars. Read more
We were a group of 7 from out of state! The food was amazing, drinks were cold. BUT the dessert was best! Our waiter Chad was... phenomenal and we are from the same state! It was a great meal and a fun time! Read more
We sat outside on an absolutely beautiful night and had some of the yummiest pizza ever. The pizza may have been my favorite... food the entire trip. We had the potato pizza without bacon and it was perfectly vegetarian. Delicious crust! Service wasgood. Read more
Late night happy hour is excellent. Great selection and prices !Good food and the service was good despite the fact they were... understaffed. One of the few places to get late night after 10pm food. Many places already stopped serving food at that hour. Read more
First time visiting Mellow Mushroom. We ordered the meat pizza. It was a carnivore?s dream. The crust was thin. It could?ve had... a bit more sauce, but it was still delicious. Our server, Ian, was nice but didn?t seem interested. That?s why 4 stars insteadof 5. I?d happily return. Read more
