Excellent service and incredible food. I would highly reccomend getting dinner reservations close to sunset because the view is... incredible. We got the Cesar salad which is simply but the flavor is immaculate. Followed by the cowboy steak which was cookedto perfection. Their old fashion was nice but the berry limeade really takes the cake if you're looking for a smoother drink. Iwould highly reccomend this place, it's perfect for special occasions. Read more
Went there for a work dinner and the all the food was super good. I understand it's a really nice restaurant but I don't know if... it was enough to merit those prices. Also the dessert menu and the cocktail menu didn't even have the prices listed so that wasa little disconcerting. I came a few times to this restaurant and every time it was a great experience. The menu changes from time to time so you have... an extra reason to go back and experience different food. No reservation was made this time, it was Saturday around 8 o’clockand the host was able to give us a table after about 15 minutes wait. We ordered some appetizers and drinks. I will post photosto see the fancy Tuna Cigar that came in a fancy cigar box. Another appetizer we got was the Thai Shrimp. While we were waitingfor the food, they brought us some sweet bread and butter. We also got the drinks , two cocktails, which were quite expensive,especially the espresso martini - $20. The prices were not on the menu , I would have chosen probably something else. It wasgood, however not worth the money. The view is always nice, especially if you can get a table outside. Omg! You need the chicken and doughnuts in your life! So. Damn. Good! We also had the beet salad, Prawns and Scallops,... Brussels Sprouts, and Sea Bass. Everything was absolutely amazing. To. Die. For and thank you to Guillermo for hisprofessional, helpful and friendly service. Topped off with delicious desert! You won’t be disappointed. We sat outside andenjoyed the sunset and city lights. What a PERFECT evening that exceeded all expectations. To be honest, I came here about 14 years ago, didn't have the best... experience, and never came back. I am so so glad that I gave this place another try as it truly was one of the best overalldining experiences I have had I a long time. Kenny was our server and was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable aboutthe menu. He gave fantastic recommendations! We had the chicken and donuts to start which I was nervous about trying but so gladwe did. Great flavor and very unique. Vegetable bisque soup was awesome and the goat cheese was a perfect compliment. My husbandand I both had the shrimp and scallops which were phenomenal. One of the most perfectly cooked shrimp I have ever had. Seasoningon the scallops was spot on and was paired perfectly with the black garlic creme fraiche...really highlighted the sweetness. Thecelery root puree was silky, velvety, and just sumptuous. The mushrooms were delightful. Atmosphere was great and reallyfantastic service. I will not be waiting another 14 years to go back! We brought my mom here for her 77th Birthday. The view was beautiful at Sunset. We tend to go out quite a bit, we enjoy... culinary experiences and not afraid to spend money on a good meal. We enjoyed our meal but I do believe it's a bit over pricedcompared to other restaurants we've gone too. I feel like if you charge $45 to $60+ for just an entree and everything else is ala carte, then I feel like plating, presentation, and overall flavor needs to be better. We enjoyed it, but having never beenthere before we were hoping for a bit more on my mom's birthday, but so enjoyed ourselves. Our favorites: Cigar Tacos (highlyrecommend), all of our drinks, the desserts were pretty good and loved our waitress Jacqueline. She was attentive. Sweet andeven joined in on our festivities a bit. I really loved this location. Great views from the valet steps to the red carpet, from the interior seating to the windows with... almost 180 degree views from Top of the Rock. 100% happy with location. Food was nicely presented, good quality, and flavorful.100% Service.... left a lot to be desired. I had to ask for water repeatedly along with refills on our drinks (not good). We hadto call our server to our table several times (not good), they weren't busy, many empty tables. A good server is excited aboutour celebration, excited to tell us about the food and drink options and make recommendations, and be knowledgeable about the"chef's specials". Responses should not be "well if you want that it will be all full of fat... and we are all out of that, picksomething else. No one told me about the specials..." That's something I would expect to hear at Denny's. ???? The AC kicked on,we got cold and so did our food. So we put our jackets on. We got some wonderful pictures on the patio before we left. Also thevalet offered to take our picture on the red carpet. That was awesome. We paid almost $100/pp. Read more
