Time for an update. Dropping from 5 to 3 stars unfortunately. For the longest time the steamed shrimp dinner was the best around... and that is comparing 5th street to seafood places around the area but most recently the quality of the shrimp drastically fellshort of even just ok. They are not the same as they've served for years. What a shame too. This also goes for the peoplefilling my order as well as the cook who seems to have trouble cooking chicken until it's completely done or it's just poorquality chicken. Another failure is when doing takeout they've been having a problem with putting everything in the bag despiteasking is everything in there!!! Only to find the extras ordered are missing. Ever since covid, employee quality has seriouslydropped as well as food quality and prices so this seems to be everywhere these days with sub par workers serving sub par food.The disappointment in this last meal will just have me taking the time to cook for myself. Our food was great. The prices were excellent.. And our waitress Chloe was wonderful. Will definitely be back.
My food was cold and she offer to reheat it i say no plus one of the employee was cursing too. Shameful cursing in a... restaurant kids are there they like sponges . Never again im coming . Plus they did not threat us nice i guess they do notlike latinos. Put a sign up at the door No Latinos Allowed so like that we know not to enter.. thank you hope this help forothers Read more
A good old fashioned diner. Their lunch specials are a particularly good value. Could they do better? You bet. Not near perfect... yet. But they have good coffee, reasonably good service, and their food is pretty good too. Lots of locals eat here and that ismore than enough reason to give them a visit when you are in the area. I went on a tough day. The client base was older when I stopped in and one of the old timers decided to listen to all the sound... effects iPhone had to offer at the highest decibel. Can't believe the staff didn't say anything as this went on for severalminutes. Other than that, good portions for the price and the staff was friendly. Read more

The dinners we ordered were both very good! Our server was awesome and full of personality. The process are more than fair. The... entire place looked and smelled freshly cleaned. We gambled on the machines afterwards. Didn't win but felt as tho we did. Veryenjoyable time and will be going back again! Read more
