We showed up for breakfast, and there was a 20-minute wait. We used this time to browse the gift shop. When we were seated, our... table wasn't clean. The waitress was nice. Our food was tasty. But the sliced tomato ???? option was kinda lame. There were 4slices, only 2 good ones. When I asked for a second side of sliced tomato, it was the same. We love going to Cracker Barrel especially on a road trip. The food is always great comfort food. The staff has always been... friendly and easy to engage. Am always going to Cracker Barrell in Temple. Best place for comfort food that I have found. Service is always spectacular,... great views and area is always clean. Excellent food. Fabulous service.

Service was excellent as always befitting their chain. Sadly the Fried chicken that I had was logged with oil that should have... been changed out some time ago. The peices where very small as well. I used to love Cracker Barrel fried chicken ???? but thisis now the second establishment I've visited in the last year that the fried chicken was way below a top standard. I'm totallydisappointed and probably will order anything but that from the menu from this point going foward. I still love Cracker Barrel,I love their retail offerings and their decorations. The Hamburger my wife had was decent. I also liked it better when thepotatos where French fried in house and not frozen too. Sorry I can't leave a better review. Read more

Dine in experience, was very slow. Waitress was very slow on refills and checking on my table of a large number and was not... professional enough to check on us even in passing to greet and meet other customers. I do understand other customers areequally important but we were first and we were considered the least bit important as far as my take on it. And this is not thefirst time this has happened several times with this location and establishment. If you go here expect slow service, expectlittle attention to your refills for your drinks, expect your food to be very slow reaching your table and you're waitress hasvery little to no knowledge of the arrival of your food. This needs to change not just in this restaurant but a restaurantsacross the board. But this restaurant specifically was late, unprofessional, no excuses within reason as to why we were notserved or refills or food in a timely manner. And up on trying to have the service we were delayed even more from the hostessthat refilled our drinks and took care of our needs. Every time I come here, I leave impressed. Food is always yummy and always arrives to the table promptly. This time, at this... location, I tried the hasbrown casserole, vanilla iced latte, and peach cobbler a la mode. The hasbrown casserole was just alittle side order, and I wish I'd have asked for two of them! It's AMAZING!! The latte and cobbler were likewise satisfying.Dad, whom I was dining with, had trout, steak fries, and coleslaw; fudgy chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert.
