I was so happy to see this place survived the Pandemic. I frequented this place 20 years ago when I worked in Temple. Spinach... enchiladas are my favorite. They're creamy and flavorful...just as good as I remembered. The atmosphere is festive (fiestive?).The staff is friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and order the iced tea to drink. Read more
It was good, big party of 13, they handled it fine. Food came out steady, plenty of chips and salsa. Nice for big groups.
The food y?all just served me is completely unacceptable. I just ordered the spinach enchiladas through Favor. I got the same... order a week ago and it was great. Today, it is downright disgusting. I refuse to eat it. It?s tortillas stuffed with way toomuch spinach, tomatoes, topped with literal sour cream dollops and cheese. Ew! Picture included below. The bar was spacious but there wasn?t a clean spot to land at so we pushed the dirty dishes and leftover napkins so we could sit... down. The customer service was horrible the bar tender mingled with those who spoke her language we felt like a hindrance to herso we avoided contact. The drinks were alright nothing exciting about a basic margarita. Salsa was too spicy for me but thechips were delicious. The appetizer platter is over priced the quesadillas had no meat in them the tortilla was burned buttasty. We asked for BBQ wings and got Buffalo no apology just we?ll have the kitchen remake the wings. Management didn?t comeover to check on us which is not normal for me especially when a customer order is wrong. The BBQ wings were the best on theplatter. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you speak the language fluently you?ll probably be treated how theemployees feel during that shift. Read more
Stopped to have late afternoon lunch. Not very crowded at all. Service was excellent along with the staff being very friendly... and helpful. Building is very clean inside and the decor is just ok. The flour tortillas were a little tough, I guess no butterunless you ask for it. Will go back again. Ask what specials they have otherwise you will never know. 01 August '20-- Restaurantis up going strong. Very, very clean. Food is as better than before. Thursday, March 24,'22: was very impressed with thecleanliness of the restaurant. Employees wore their Covid masks. Plus all tables were cleaned before serving. Great mid-size restaurant in town right off the main loop. I had fish tacos and they were AWESOME! I recommend this place over... the mediocre place next door. This is more intimate, not as dark and loud, and a friendly hostess and server. Read more
