I grew up eating these donuts and they are amazing. They also have the best sausage & cheese "kolaches". We love to grab... breakfast from here. I loved going on the way to school in high school and now my daughter loves to go get donuts with me. Read more
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this Shipley if your looking for quality fresh donuts and kolaches. Alright so I am not a Shipley... fan as it is but when hunger strikes you grab what?s there instead of investigating. I am pretty sure those donuts were days oldmaybe even a week old. Dry and hard beyond disappointing. I don?t live in temple I drive up to go to the H-E-B which I love. Thekolaches bread was hard and crunchy I already have a tumor in my mouth I appreciate soft kolaches and fresh donuts. I would evensay this location can be closed it was not worth my time nor money. On a 9?hour road trip we were in need of a pick-me-up. We searched high and low for a doughnut place and after reading reviews... of several places along our trip, we went with Shipley. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, I was happy withthe decision to stop here. We were immediately greeted by not one but all of the people behind the counter. The selection washuge! Everything we tried was delicious. I tried the sausage egg kolach and it was soooo good. My kids loved the doughnuts. Itwas all fresh too! Walked in later in morning. Great service. Very friendly. The best cinnamon rolls and big rocktop muffins on the planet.
