It is hard to rate chain restaurants. Texas roadhouse never disappoints, but that is why they are crowded and noisy. The food is... above average and prices are more than fair in the economy. The service was perfect and honestly could not have been better.Even with the crowd we did not have to wait. Steak cooked perfectly, salmon was on the money...all good, we will be back Read more

Our server was good. Wish peanuts were back and that regular butter also came with the rolls. Food and drinks were good.

I understand it’s hard to find good help these days but Texas roadhouse in Temple Texas need to close their doors for a week... to teach there waitresses the difference between sweet tea and unsweet tea and teach their cooks how to cook a steak. Becauseapparently their cooks don’t know the difference between well-done and medium rare steak. That’s not bad enough I had towait an hour for mine and my family food and most of it was cold along with the steak’s being undercooked. Last time I had agood experience at that location it had to be over a year ago and I’ve eaten there at least 12 times since then. Read more

Our dinner last night was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant - ever. Started off fine, just like... any other experience with a popular restaurant (we had a party of 5 and there was a wait - completely understandable). We werepatient and waited our turn. We were sat and greeted by our server, Audrey, who was BY FAR the best part of our evening. She wasattentive, understanding, and super sweet to our 18 month old son. Now the bad part - THREE different times crickets landed onus during dinner. Once on me, once on my son, and once on my mom. It was brought to management’s attention and her responsewas that “crickets are bad this time of year” and that we could be moved to a better location with no crickets. Ma’am - ifyou’re aware of this bad cricket situation in your restaurant, why are you not getting this treated? Why are you sittingguests in an area where crickets are literally dropping from the ceiling? I’m not sure what kind of resolution we wereexpecting from management, but I was just surprised to hear that they were already aware of the falling crickets and theiradvice was to pretty much “deal with it.” I was super uncomfortable and we ended up leaving quickly after talking tomanagement. Food: ???? Service: ????? Overall: 4.5 rounded to 5 Texas Roadhouse has a fun, country atmosphere. It's always packed, but the... manager on duty makes sure to visit each table. The unlimited fresh rolls and whipped cinnamon butter could carry a 5 starrating alone. I do miss the peanuts though. If you follow me, you know I love fried cheese, and the Rattlesnake Bites delivermelted jack cheese with a jalapeño kick. The crispy shell with the melted center was delicious. My husband enjoyed his housesalad, commenting that it was very good. We ordered loaded sweet potatos with cheese and bacon, but got them with marshmallowswhich they quickly replaced. They were, surprisingly, the best part of the meal. Baked to the perfect level of softness, theskin fell right off. I don't know what they do to their butter, but I had intended to eat only half of it and gobbled down thewhole thing. We ordered sirloin steak, medium well for me, and medium for my husband, but got well done and medium well(pictured), respectively. Mine was too dry to finish. They cheerfully offered to replace them, but I did not take them up on itsince I had plenty to eat and did not want to wait. I'm sure a second one would have been much better. Overall, a pleasantdining experience, but I will order medium rare next time. Read more
