Horrible place. I went there last night with my cousin and they completely ignored us. So we just sat down and then the server... comes and asks us basically what we were doing there. I just said that we decided to seat ourselves if that was okay and he saidno. So my cousin and I stood up thinking he was going to seat us but no. He went toward the kitchen and never came back. It is simply the worst Chinese bbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The taste is just so so but it is insanely pricy after... several price hikes. No worth it at all. Would recommend other bbq restaurants in Monterey Park or san Gabriel. For this one, iwould never go again! Read more
I've never experienced something like this - had dinner here with my friends and the service and food was just okay, nothing... particular good just another 626 restaurant. When the bill came I did my usual thing: checked the pre-tax total amount and addabout 15% round up a little more to a total and paid. Then a guy (who did not serve our table) came to me pointing out at thebill saying "we require minimum tips shown here, at least this 15% number". He was talking about the printed suggested tipover-calculated based on the post-tax bill. And he insisted it was a " restaurant requirement". So I had to give up and updatedthe total amount to their "required minimum" which costs me $20 more. Most of the people I know have been calculating tipsbased on pre-tax amount and I'm never a stingy tipper (at least 25%-30% tip if service is good). But I felt I was tricked andintimidated to tip more while the food and service is just so-so. If you come here please don't follow my bad example. Tipwhatever amount you think is reasonable. The worst place ever. Foods are bad, even some friends got diarrhea right after the dinner. The most worst part is when you... check out, they were playing credit card game, telling you that the pos machine did not work, asking you either to pay cash ormoney transfer. In this way, they can make more money from you and avoid the tax. Won’t recommended this place. The ownerthere should be arrested, everything in there is 100% illegal! Read more
Terrible place, they only want cash, if you want to use credit card, they claimed their post machine stop working, you have to... transfer to their bank account. Also, we order 10 plates of the same food accidentally,no one tell us. They just want yourmoney. Don’t come to this place!! Read more
We used to love coming here. Their food was so tasty, but something is changed now We all got diarrhea after we had food here... yesterday. And I’m still not feeling good right now. The food was too salty, dry and over baked. I know it’s a music bar butit’s not a real club club right? The music was way too loud. We have to raise voice during the whole meal. Oh my..Sotired! Heads up, if you are sensitive to smoke from them allowing their own customers and staff to smoke, then don’t even consider... coming here. I was a few blocks away and I could already smell the smoke. From the start, I already had a bad feeling of thisplace. We were very poorly greeted and not once did anyone check up on us, we had to beg for their attention. They didn’t saybye to us when we left, and the waiters were just extremely rude like they didn’t want to be there. I’m still in shock howbadly i got scammed tonight, i received skewers this small and overpaid by so much. It was burnt and had so much fat. Theiredamame and peanuts were sour and clearly old. We had to get a refund for those, never had that happen to me before. Their musicis obnoxiously loud and don’t come here if you stare sensitive to lights flashing in your eyes and music so loud you have toscream to talk to your friends. Customer service is less than mediocre. Waiters kept ignoring us, paid $100+ for two people yetwe are not even half full. They automatically added 25% tips which is really obnoxious because I don’t get why we can’t addthat ourselves. My stomach is hurting immediately after consuming their food which is clearly a sign of food poisoning. Theirpotato’s were absolutely burnt and it was black, barely edible. The seasoning was unevenly distributed making some with nospice and others with so much that it is absolutely gross.
