It's becoming our favorite place to dine in. The ambiance is pleasant, chic and modern. The service is outstanding. The entire... staff are polite and not rude like some places when they are busy. And, best of all, the price is great. The place is alwayspacked so make sure to arrive early. The food is delicious and very affordable, which usually don't go together. The portionsare big too, with plenty of leftovers. We ordered many more dishes but there was no time to take photos. They were devour beforeI remembered ???? Come try them out. You won't be disappointed! Read more

We stuck mostly to the $10.99 menu, which may seem almost like a "dollar menu" in other restaurants, but here, you get so much... food in every $10.99 dish, and these dishes are truly delicious and unique. This is a fantastic deal at this restaurant! Weordered 6 of these specials, and even with three hungry people, there was quite a bit for us to take home. It was a mostenjoyable dinner. This is not exactly a quiet place, but since we were so hungry, that didn't matter so much to us. Getting somuch wonderful food at a reasonable price, and with very speedy service, made this a great experience. Read more

Don’t sleep on Red99’s lunch special! The service was great! Food came out quickly and there was complimentary edamame and... soup. We arrived around 11:10 and waited in line until they opened at 11:30. All the food was good and high quality. This wasthe best mapo tofu I’ve ever had! All of the dishes that we ordered were amazing. We will be back! Read more

Came here for an early lunch. They open at 11:30am and there was already a long line. My pops and I didn't make it quite there... in time so we had to share a table with a couple which we didn't mind. The food was pretty good and their lunch specials are$10.99 per plate. They include free rice, soup, and edamame so that's really nice these days. I'd recommend true steamed fishfor lunch. I'll stop by next time for their hotpot. Read more

$10.99 lunch and dinner special!!! Decent dishes. Packed all the time. Rsvp is maybe possible for parties of 5+. Specials... include edamame, soup, rice and tea. Last call/kitchen closes at 840pm. It's a steal!! Dishes included whole steamed fish, chiliwater boiled fish, stir fry dishes and more. Staff are really really busy so you'll have to just understand you're coming for asteal. Waving down service action doesn't work when staff doesn't even go toward your section so where you sit can matter. It'sso packed, you don't get a choice of where to sit. Read more

I really their 10.99 menu!! ???? A coworker told me about this place that has lunch AND dinner special 10.99. I am amazed about... the quality of food you get for that price. It comes with tea, soup, and rice. We ordered the tilapia, mapo tofu, and kung paochicken. Our least favorite of the 3 is the mapo tofu, perhaps we're not use the flavor. The fish and kungpao was really goodand we had leftovers to take home ????. Read more

One of the newly opened hot Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel Valley. Since everyone is talking about it, my wife and I decided... to come to find out what the buzz is about. It turned out that the people come for the taste of the food. As one of Yelpers putit, “ every dish does not disappoint” , “ should bring the whole family, especially the elderly here to have ameal.” Every table seemed to order the two most popular dishes: steamed fish and Hongshao Rou or braised pork belly. I alsosaw some tables had MaPo tofu. Following everyone else’s orders, we too ordered these popular dishes. I was surprised on howgood they are. The fish was steamed to the right tenderness with the fish meat and the black bean sauce added extra flavors thatelevated the fish taste to a different level. I didn’t know you can use black bean sauce to steam fish too. Even a simpledish like pan fried long thing bean with garlic, it was cooked to perfection. The food was so flavorful and tasty. The textureof bean was tender and firm but not chewy. With all theses yummy food, the price for each dish is less than $11 and theportions are big.( just look at the pictures) This restaurant tends to get very busy during lunch time. Prepare to wait awhilefor lunch. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more. I understand this restaurant is owned by the same owner ofJapanese restaurant next door. Read more

Had 6 (lunch special) dishes - salt pepper shrimp was excellent. Steam fish and stir fried string beans were very good. The... rest were all decent (tofu, braised pork, Kung Pao chicken). Very good quality for the price. $10.99 per dish! Read more
