The food looks great on the menu, but in reality it is greatly lacking in seasoning and flavor. The jumbo wings are not jumbo,... just regular party wings that are $2 per wing piece. I ordered the grilled wings. They had grill marks, but were rubbery and Icould barely taste the smoke. The collard green rolls were just collard greens in a spring roll, they were supposed to haveturkey bits, but if there were any in there they were indeed BITS because I did not see or taste any. This is my opinion of thefood I ordered not the whole menu, but honestly, if you enjoy Chili's or Applebee's you won't have a problem with thisestablishment. The food is not high end restaurant quality, it is absolutely overpriced, but it's cooked safely and given to youwith a smile. That counts for something. Owners/ Managers need to do better as a black establishment. 95% of the time they only have one waiter. The waiter is answering... calls, taking walk-in orders and waiting tables. Sometimes they even have that person running the bar too. This is the mainreason why they don?t answer the phone sometimes. At Chinese restaurants it don?t matter how busy they are they always answerthe phone.Do better! - The Vegan food is bomb esp the jerk wings. Read more
First time here. Had a birthday dinner on Saturday there and it was very nice. The food was good. The waiter we had name was... Anita! The food was ok. But the hostess took forever to seat us! Then we waited an hour for our food! The mac and cheese tasted like... they shook the whole bottle of salt in it! And the music was too loud! I couldn't even hear the server talking to me! I had toget up to talk to my friend who was sitting right across from me so she could hear me! I found this place through a friend and googled the menu from the parking lot. Placed an order and paid right as my phone died.... I went in the restaurant to try and at least see if the order could be located after I got confirmation it was placed. First ofall I love the atmosphere and everyone was SO helpful and nice. A young lady lent me her charger, I believe I ended up chattingwith the manager when nobody could locate the order and I got to try some amazing funnel cake fries. It was such a welcomingexperience and inviting I not only forgot that technically I had a "problem" but I would go out of my way to order from themagain. I had the crab and shrimp dip and these chips are PERFECT as well as the actual dip. The funnel cake fries were fresh andfried perfectly - I love when they have crisp pockets in them ??????????????. Horrible food and the server and customer service was even worst?I don?t know who these great reviews came from it has to be... from friends and family because anyone used to any great restaurant quality would never rate so well ?they claim to have catfishnuggets and I don?t know if that was truly catfish that?s how bad 1/2 of a bite was even the greens were wrong and grits wereover cooked?.AVOID AVOID AVOID Read more
