This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Very cool, rustic steakhouse atmosphere. Started with tortilla soup and the ?garlic... bread?- delicious! Just be prepared? special topping that?s a house secret- also sampled the chipotle duck nachos starter- tastyas well. Hubs had the ribeye steak and oooo?d over the reduction on it. I had the macadamia crusted salmon- sooooo good!Finished it off with the Basque cheesecake and raspberry sauce ???? Read more

Unfortunately I didn?t take pictures because really pictures are worth 1000 words. It was such good food. My only warning is... don?t order too many appetizers you will be full. In addition to wonderful food that was well plated and well balanced they alsohad wines that were appropriate for the area and price point. Read more

Excellent food!! The best pizza and pork ribs we have had. The pizza had great flavors, the pistachio pesto and the goat cheese... were creating a symphony of flavors in our mouth!! The burratta ravioli is the best with amazing flavors and that fresh basilon top. Very friendly hostess who guided us to pick the dishes based on what we preferred. Read more

Great evening at McPhee's Grill. Having recently moved to the area, and hosting out of town guests, this place was recommended.... Nice by-the-glass wine list. The entrees we chose (macadamia encrusted halibut, sea scallops, jambalaya pasta) were allfantastically flavorful. Creme Brule capped off our night. Our server was perfectly attentive and non-intrusive. We all want tovisit again! Read more

Between Atascadero and Paso Robles is the small town of Templeton. We took a brief vacation over Memorial Day to visit a few... wineries and relax. Finding McPhee?s to have the last dinner of the trip became one of the highlights of the weekend. Super coolrestaurant with a touch of elegance but also a very homey feel. We kept it simple a tossed salad and a ribeye steak with garlicmashed potatoes and vegetable. It was wonderful. I couldn?t get my party to get a dessert. We were offered an olive oil cakewith housemaid vanilla ice cream. I?m not a dessert person but that sounded so good but alas I wasn?t taking that on bymyself. The service was wonderful. We met the owner and he was very gracious. It really is a place you must visit when you?re inthe area. Read more

We made last minute reservations, got in, order 1 Turkey dinner, 1 filet mignon dinner and they knocked both out of the park.... The service was really good and the food that much better. The only off thing is not single person from the staff was maskedup, so if this is an issue for you then keep that in mind. Otherwise it?s an excellent choice for fast service and really goodfood.
