First course of crispy eggplant (baingan chutneywala) and chickpeas (tokree ki chaat) were delicious! Shareable main course were... more of a fusion type, catering to American palate. If you want some heat, make sure to request for it… the spice blends inthe dishes are very flavorful. Plating looks very appetizing. Glad with their BYOB policy. We arrived early for dinner because we did not have reservations and it turned out to be a wise choice on a Saturday evening... since a majority of tables had been reserved. The vibe is a little weird, but there was a steady flow of take out customers, agood sign. We took on a cramped window seat and were attended to quite nicely, and cauliflower soup arrived shortly thereafter,complimentary. I had an incredible appetizer, tulsi mango shrimp. Chicken and saag paneer, bangan barta. The barta was loadedwith peas however and somewhat non traditional. Excellent service at reasonable cost. We left a hefty cash tip and drove back toLI happy.
