Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Only a few small flaws. Comfortable and clean. The owners did their very best, but the... staff was not very knowledgeable about local options for food. Impossible to manage the temp in our room, but it was fine. Somewater glasses in the room would have been welcome. Enjoyed the Tavern downstairs. Five remotes in our room, could only figureout two of them, the other three were relics. Would stay again. The location is incredible, breakfast was very good. Read more

We pay $300 plus tax a night. The place is okay but the price per night is too much. It should be less than $200 per night. View... is great but the room is old & bathroom is way to small. Read more

Stayed for one night. Signage was confusing, but the room was good, even though it was in a separate building a few yards away.... Location right on Harbor was excellent, as was the included breakfast. Read more

We stayed for one night and had 2 rooms in the Captain's house. The shared areas need some facelift- they are pretty old. The... rooms are more updated but very small. Noisy air-conditioners. The walls are thin and you'd hear your neighbors pretty well.Great bay view. The shared living room has a lot of board games, books, and even binoculars, also a shared fridge, and somecoffee/tea options. There's a fire pit and free firewood outside of the main building, but make sure to ask for a lighter beforethe reception closes at 8pm. Very good breakfast, made to order. Overall an ok stay, but a bit too pricey for the facilitiesoffered. Read more

We absolutely loved our stay here! The owners were so kind and so helpful. The breakfast was spectacular. I have celiac disease... and was absolutely taken care of. The views are amazing. Waking up to the sound of a working harbor was a gift. We look forwardto coming back as soon as possible! Read more

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay with great breakfast by the harbor. The rooms were clean, very quiet, and there?s... a green patch where we read on Adirondack chairs looking over the harbor. The Quarry Tavern, a restaurant attached to the inn,had wonderful food as well. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the St. George area! Read more

My 4-night stay at East Wind was EXCELLENT in every way. The inn and annex are located in an authentic part of the Maine coast... right on the edge of a working harbor. Each room looks out to this beautiful and serene setting. Randy, the owner, obviouslycares that his guests have the perfect experience and includes a wonderfully fresh breakfast each morning prepared by a talentedchef, who also provides creative evening cuisine in the inn's tavern. This was a fabulous find. I can't wait to go back nextyear! Read more

This quaint Inn sits right on Tenants Harbor. I stayed in room 2. The room was perfect. I loved the spacious modern bathroom.... The ability to open windows to listen to the seagulls and fishing boats just added to the room?s winning points. I never heardany other guests, but I know it was almost to captivity. There was no tv. I was actually pretty excited about that. Although, Icould have requested one. I didn?t bring a pet, but I love that they have a separate building nearby for those that do. Therewaslocal information waiting in the room. There was even a flashlight. I have never seen that in an Inn or hotel. What a greatidea for those that may need to go out to their car late or if power is ever lost. Very smart! The breakfast just topped it off.It comes with the room. However, I wouldn?t have minded at all if I had to pay. I had the lobster Benedict. Unbelievably good! The lobster was plentiful and tasted like it was fresh from one of the boats passing by the breakfast windows. The staff arevery friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Read more
